Dynamic Things does what this does and gives you control with how effective it is, here's a link to it; https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/60741
DISCLAIMER: I'm not saying this mod is s#*!, it just hasn't been updated in a long time so I'm posting an alternative.

    Love the mod!

But, it has a small conflict with Immersive Citizens (the targets in Whiterun behind Jorrvaskr) and the Sky Haven Temple - Gardens (the archery targets).

I tried to make a patch with SSEEdit and I got the archery targets working. However, in Whiterun behind Jorrvaskr, the target dummies on the far right do not work.

I'm not too savvy with the CK or SSEEdit and was wondering if you could make a patch or provide some guidance?
Any help you provide would be most appreciated.

    Thanks!

I think I might have the same issue, but I have no idea how to try and fix it. Shame..

Open the Immersive Citizen in CK, go to dummie or archer target in the respective map location and make sure if there is a "yellow collision box" around the object, delete it.

Note. I don't know why the author of Immersive Citizen added this, as it is not linked to any reference or script, detail this layer only adds an invisible wall effect, so the arrows do not hit the target.

This doesn't seem to work for me. I installed it, and when I shoot a dummy with an arrow at close range I get the "Too close" message, but no matter how many arrows I fire, I never get the "hit with bow" message and my skill never increases. Ive also tried attacking with other weapons, and I never seem to get anything. Did some update or something break this mod?

hmm, this got me thinking if it could not be done in a works universally way via a skse dll plugin. that way it wouldnt matter which version has been placed, aslong its a training dummy would work on it

The original mod had a configuration menu, I believe. One doesn't show up in my game if it exists. Someone please clarify this for me.

There are 2 tiny scripts that come with this mod. Just change the values in the scripts for distances and xp gained, then recompile.

Hello I loved similar mod on Oldrim and wondering which DL to get. I am playing with Immersive Citizens and seen others say it has conflicts but also have Falskaar installed.

Do I need the first file pack or the Falskaar or both? Does the first of them not conflict with Immersive Citizens just wont work on training dummies in Falskaar? Or maybe does the Falskaar one fix the conflict with IC?

Old post, but in case anyone else is reading this...  Only use ONE of the file downloads! NOT BOTH. If you have Falskaar, use the Falskaar one. If not, then the other.

I suggest using xedit to look at the changes. I found a few that needed changes forwarded from mods like USSEP and AI Overhaul. I also have a couple hundred dummies/targets from other mods so I created a single patch file that captured them all. I'm also going to see if I can change the ArcheryTargetSnow targets to earn xp since this mod skips over those.

EDIT: After looking over the ArcheryTargetSnow targets and doing some research, I found you cannot convert those to this mod. That's because those statics use Materials applied to them for the snow, and Activators can only use Meshes with no Materials. You'd have to create a new mesh with some kind of embedded snow in it to get the result. This is also true of the targets in Solstheim that have ash on them.

Wish restoration spells also worked with this, like, using the sick from the temple of Kynareth as dummy XP

Is it possible this is causing skill books to not give skill points?
