So I was digging around xEdit (SSEEdit) trying to get IDPM, Amulets of Skyrim SSE and Warmonger Armory to play nice, and noticed something that caused me to scratch my head....
The 'EITM - Object Effect' enchant name for Dukaan and Zahkriisos got screwed up by Bethesda from what I can tell. This really screwed with my brain when trying to smooth out the correct enchant effects for the AoS dragon priest amulets and rings. Dukaan's enchantment is DLC2EnchAcolyteMaskFrost "Zahkriisos' Ire" [ENCH:040250E2] Zahkriisos' enchantment is DLC2EnchAcolyteMaskShock "Dukaan's Fury" [ENCH:040250E3]
Am I reading the data right? lol
and i'm having trouble figuring out how to get Amulets of Skyrim to use the enchantments from IDPM...*grrrr*
Equipping miraak makes my entire head vanish.. I'm using zimm's immersive artifacts and I assume that's the reason and they're conflicting or something, what should I do
The description for these masks are still the vanilla version, e.g. Otar still states frie/frost/shock resist even though you can see in Magic Effects that it gives the mod's effects (magic resist, health, poison and disease resist). I don't know if this is an issue with this mod in particular, or if it's a conflict with another mod of mine. I think it might be due to Legacy of the Dragonborn, but I'm not sure. Could you have a look at this? Thanks.
In case anyone is having issues with this and The Curse, you'll need to change the load order in the game itself (use Y on the xbox controller I believe) and make sure this loads right after The Curse. Also, this mod will turn itself off in the game, despite being on in Vortex. Some mods do this, so be sure that it's turned on INSIDE the game's load order. This fixed it for me.
Also, if you have other dragon priest mask mods, they'll try to turn themselves on in Vortex, and the game order itself, when toggling this mod. Make sure to have those turned off in both the Vortex and game itself. Then, you'll be golden. Text still messed up, but who cares after messing around for over and hour just to get it to work, right?
Uhhh.. My masks all have these effects, but Nexus says I've never downloaded this mod and it's not amongst my mods at all. I've been scouring through them for an hour, trying to figure out what the heck is going on. I can understand Nexus being wrong about me downloading it, but wouldn't it still show up in my mods? Is there some other mod that has this included?
This mod simply isn't working. The only other Dragon Priest mask mod I have is the Apophysis retexture, but this mod and that have no conflicts, and this should only change the stats. Does anyone have a solution?
So, I like a decent chunk of the changes, but I think the Vokun enchantment is more a matter of Bethesda not giving the mask the right name. Taking into account the word wall that's located there, as well as Vokun's abilites, I think 'Shadow' was more meant to refer to dark magic; i.e., sorcery, rather than sneaking around, 'Void' or 'Storm' would have been a better word for the mask, IMO.
