In Skyrim VR, the DCC choices start in the main menu area, forcing you to build a non-existent character, then it does not appear again after actually starting a new game. Anyone else on VR experiencing this?
Why is there not a way to change your choice again without having to start a new game? That gets irritating when you have like 20 MCU menus that needs to load up every time. Surely there must be some command to type in console to get this to fire again. I really like this mod.
A workaround - start a game with this mod disabled, make a new Prisoner character in the Live Another Life cell or whatever, set up those mod menus, save the game as "Ready-to-Play Prisoner" or whatever, and exit. Then enable this mod, start the game, load that "Ready-to-Play Prisoner" save file, and presto, you're hit with this mod's character Background menu..
The only downside of this method is that after loading that "Ready-to-Play" save, you only have a few seconds to open the console and run "showracemenu" to change your character's race before the DCC Background menu pops up, or else you'll be stuck with the Starting Attributes and Racial Abilities of your (presumably Nord) "Ready-to-Play Prisoner." A workaround for that would be to set up that "Ready-to-Play" character, then use "showracemenu" to change their race and make separate save files for each playable race. Which is a hassle, but less hassle than loading a bunch of mod menus every time you start a new character.
As an alternative, you could use the mod "Character Creation Overhaul" (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2725). That gives you a book called "A New Beginning", which you can read at any time to revise your choices. The mod also lets you choose a birthsign at the start of the game, much like Oblivion did.
Best one I've used, this will be great for a roleplaying server. Getting two free perks is great and skills going up to 25, not too little not too much, is great
The main page says non-compatibility with race overhauls, but it doesnt crash the system. I was just wondering - has anyone tried to use this mod with Imperious by Enai? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1315
Just curious if anyone observed just how wonky the stats went. Does it make the game ridiculously unplayable?
It just overwrites the stats, as far as I can tell, but you keep the powers. Not a serious conflict.
I could be wrong, but after some testing it seems like the scripts are not as dynamic as they were maybe intended to be, to the luck of Imperious users.
Not sure how alive the this forum is now but I just wanted to know if their is console commands to add or remove the racial intuition perks. Im using a custom race and would like to change the racial intuition boost from light armor and heavy. Normally skills like this (such as the Khajit claws ability) have an ID that you can use console commands to add to a character. Does such a method exist with this?
edit: Ah ffs! https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57311?tab=files yay, go me, anyone else? see the new one/\
*Major gamebreaking problem* and i'm sorry but the issue is inevitibly on your end - your mod won't let Skyrim run (CTD after logo) coz it doesn't recognise the new Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch (USLEEP). Please fix, it's literally the simplest thing and it shouldn't have ever been a problem but they had to modernise all this time later...
It combines all the patches to make life easier for everyone, and breaks recognition for older mods --> https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71214
Does anybody know if I can fire up the choice menu again via console command once the game has started? I am using the Mark of Arkay mod and it has the option to boot you back to the RaceMenu once you die. It would be nice if I could fire-up this event again everytime I die so I could create a "new character" after each death without restarting the game :).
Thanks for this mod! I didn't like how CCO elevated some skills to a whopping level 35, which was completely unbalanced IMO, so I looked around for something else and found this here moddo!
I made an esp that removes the perks added at the start (that was the only thing I didn't like about the mod), now it's perfect for me :-)

Find the ID's with something like, 'help "Racial Intuition - Light Armor" 4'
