Does anyone know how to fix an overlay tattoo interaction with mist/fog ingame? My character body blend pretty well with the mist/fog but the color of my overlay that i use turns brighter than the body itself. Like it doesnt blend completely with the body.
Hello! First off, this is a great mod. Thank you so much for uploading. That said, is there a way to make the "Hand Paints" same resolution as the "Body Paint"? My HAND paints always appear blurry, like 512 textures, despite having the "iTintTextureResolution=2048" ini setting. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
UPDATE! Thank Talos for my training painting murals. The solution is an application like GIMP or Paint.net or any that can open .dds files. Open the problematic hand tats in them, use the app's commands for increasing contrast by a significant amount(just be careful that you don't make them permanently black), overwrite when you save, and boom. Now they're showing even more detail than the body paints...so I guess I have to edit them too...crud. UPDATE AGAIN! If you are using GIMP a more user friendly way would be to go to the "Filters" tab, "Enhance" option, and "De-speckle" feature. This removes the super small dots that get anti-aliased individually, resulting in unfriendly blur. Values for "black level" and "white level" at 255 ea. Leave radius as is. "File" tab, "Overwrite 'the texture name here'.dds", close and discard changes when asked.
Hopefully someone here can maybe help with an issue, since I haven't heard anything on the racemenu page itself yet. I've recently (read suddenly) started having an issue where body overlays don't actually show on the character anywhere above the waist.
I use skin feature overlay, freckle mania and vanilla warpaints absolution. All these mods work fine with both, ece and racemenu installed. But this mod and all of the community overlays seem to disable the acces to the overlay tab in racemenu/ece. Why is that? really would like to use em.
Nevermind! As a woman, I always played female chars - first time i created a male char and did not expected that i have to download something extra for males. :)
I mostly seperated the Female and Male files just to save some space on the harddrive, especially with the older versions of my mods where I didn't realize how to best reduce the impact. Sorry if it was at all an inconvenience, and I hope you got it all working to your liking
I know this is terribly unhelpful on your end, but I can't seem to pull it up in the first place by pressing t under all of the body paint options. Not sure if anything comes to mind on your end but I'd appreciate any input you could provide because your mod looks really good and I'd like to use it.
