Since people (myself included) were confused by what this mod is I thought I'd download it and see for myself. I was pleasantly surprised! First off, this is a really cool little quest mod! Props to the mod author!
It adds a unique Hagraven outside of the Glenmoril Coven cave. You can ask her about becoming her new apprentice. She'll consider the offer if you bring her three items, her description of which is meant to be a riddle. You can take the time to figure it out on your own or, if you speak to her again, it seems to give you the answer (although this may be dependent on the items in your inventory, I'm not sure). After you give her the items you then go talk to the other Hagraven she's been arguing with. The quest seems to have two different ways it can play out, which is fun! If you play your cards right, you'll end up with a Hagraven ally! She will continue to hangout outside the same cave and she is a master in alchemy. For a fee you can improve that skill, which is basically the quest's reward.
Some things that are cool about this mod: both Hagraven's are fully voiced! The quest is fun and short with different endings. As I just mentioned, it's nice you get a teacher as a reward.
Something that's disappointing: While I didn't expect it, it would've been cool if it let you ally yourself with the coven in the cave. To be fair, that probably would've broken the companion questline, so I guess that's a positive that it doesn't do that lol. Maybe it would've been better to give the friendly Hagraven's their own cave/coven away from Glenmoril with other friendly witches?
That being said the mod is cool for what it is! I recommend it if you're wanting to do a witch character or just like the idea of having a Hagraven friend.
so we cannot keep both as friends and will it turn all hagravens and hags friends with the player after the main game quest, there are mods that turn hags into some very beautiful beings so can it be implimented into the mod that both can be firends, and the dialogue should lead to a peaceful conclusion, just putting an idea out there, maybe something in the line of the forsworn also at peace with the hagravens not just attacking because the DB is firends with her.
there's a mod on loverslab that makes her a follower... but it also turns her into a weird bird person, like even more bird than they already are. not that I have anything against birds, they're beautiful creatures, I just wish there was a more lore friendly version. Hagravens are basically the ugliest thing in Skyrim other than draugr, it makes sense that some would be ugly because they're so old, but why can't there be younger ones who are still beautiful? or why can't they just use their powerful magic to make themselves look younger. with all the npc/monster beautification mods out there it always surprises me that there aren't any for the hag ravens.
the reason why there aren't any hagraven beautification mods is because they aren't meant to be beautiful. It literally goes against the lore. They're meant to be grotesque, cuz they worship Namira and gain their powers from her. That said, I just want a hagraven follower... so I guess I'll do be doing that.
I thought this mod would me...y'kno the hagravens apprentice...instead I do all the quests asks, and muira attacks me at end the and I have to kill both Hagravens..is this really how its meant to do?
I got that result, but then tried with a different dialogue option and then the white haired hagraven helped me kill the brown haired one, and then i got the option to ask to be her apprentice but I couldn't actually click on that dialogue option, she just kept staring at me...
I was afraid if there is any bug with the quest, because it was acting differently from the old creation kit for some unknown reason (like idle comments showing instead of dialogue and I have no idea why) but it looks like I don't know how I should describe it even :p I will try to add some colored title above it in description tab. EDIT: I can see it now - the description brief part should be less brief - fixed. Now I hope someone would let me know if there are some bugs or have suggestions for the quest itself :).
