This does one thing Bethesda does not want you to do. Put off her quest for a while you do something else. There are several things in this DLC to force you to complete it without ignoring it till later. Example, Vamps attack all the time till the quest is completed. Thanks, this one issue drives me nuts.
Great concept... but I need it to do more than remove a few lines....LOL Have you got a ball-gag handy? I had decided to DL the enhanced Serana dialog mod and play with her as a love interest... HUGE MISTAKE; 2/3rds through the quest line, and I'm remembering why I hate her as a follower. I'm ready to just kill her to regain my sanity from her talking incessantly, and CONSTANTLY whining and complaining about EVERYTHING!! UGH! SHUT UP ALREADY, SERANA!!! I SWEAR they modeled her after Sailor Moon (Serena). Even their names are similar. Hmmm....
I didn't even last that long with her. I'm only just now coming across this, but I was through with her as soon as I realized she doesn't follow any directions at all, especially "wait here", trade items, or any other standard follower command, on top of all the annoying and repetitive comments, I finally just had to use a 'disable actor' cheat/command to flat-out get rid of her. The simple fact that she would not stop following me everywhere I went was almost enough already, but the rest just put me over the edge lol.
i consider this mod as a direct attack to me, and i just came to say that, and because it is always fun to know the desperate state of the ones needing this, so thanks
Man. Between this and the mod to make the Automotron robots stop pestering me to take them along every three seconds, this has been a pretty good night.

never knew vanilla serana voice line can irritate players , ! and here i thought orc follower male was worse , every damn time no matter what u do ''no wonder our enemy fear at the sight of an orc warrior!'' bruh its DB they fear , and many more (tbh then who playes with vanilla followers ,specially in these modding age, )
The ones I hate, is she complains if she's outside in the day, which I understand, so I go inside a cave and she complains about spending too much time inside a cave, so now we are outside and it's cloudy and what does she say? "This must be some of that beautiful Skyrim weather I've heard so much about." So I have to ask. Are those covered?
I dislike many of Serana's inane combat barks such as "where did you come from?" (when you have entered an area known to be full of enemies), "that'll teach you" (as if some critter incapable of thought when living will learn from its experience when killed); and "done and done" (as if killing a monster is part of some agreement between the monster and her). In fact, I opened this mod in the CK and removed those comments from her battle bark repertoire. She is not the only Bethesda character which says stupid things (Frea apologizing to a draugr for killing it "but you gave me no choice" or some follower telling you to 'be on your guard" when you are in the midst of a pitched battle. or Lydia telling you at Kodlak's funeral, that Eorland Gray-Mane works the Sky-Forge and that he is a marvel with steel as if you would not know that by then (although you might not know the latter given his lackluster inventory)..

But yeah, no other follower has bothered me quite as much. Possibly also because she is forced on the player for such a long stretch of time.
This mod is a total must-have for me. I merged it into my personal Serana patch in the old version of the game and just converted that one for use here, but I'll download your conversion just so I can endorse it. :D
Dude. Just...dude. You. Are. My. Hero. Serana is by far the best vanilla follower, bar none - EXCEPTING that annoying-ass line that you have so kindly removed from her...forever. So in conclusion, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! =)
you are my hero. seriously. i literally came to nexus just now to look for a mod like this because serana is driving me up a friggin wall. im tired of rushing through the dawnguard questlines just to get rid of her. so THANK YOU for giving me some sanity (and peace and quiet)
