aria7 wrote: Yeah. I don't get that. Why do people comment on mods they will not use in the first place especially when it's a negative comment? I can understand if they tried the mod, and verbalize their displeasure, but to have no interest in the mod, will not try it, and verbalize their displeasure is weird.
Also, it's not like this is a Zelda mod. It's still Elder Scrolls. The house is just inspired by LOZ. There is nothing unimmersive about the mod.
Nah. Mod is definitely unimmersive. But there is a information (in description) about it, so I don't have idea why some people have problem with it.
The only unimmersive thing about it is that it has no snow despite being in the snowiest area of Skyrim. If someone added snow to it it'd be perfect, IMHO.
Windfall Island, does not have snow. So if anything, snow would make it less immersive. The problem is the location, just not many options on where he could have placed it. I guess it could have been in the big lake near Riverwood. But I assume he chose that particular location to avoid as many conflicts as possible.
Islands are weird sometimes in that they don't receive snow while the mainland a minute's boat ride away will get snow. This isn't every island, but islands upon this planet earth sometimes have this microbiome effect. Newfoundland, which isn't an island, but way up north, rarely gets snow. The vikings who first landed in the area called it the land without frost, because it remains quite temperate (32-72 degrees F) throughout the year. While this is Skyrim we're talking about, I think lore-wise some leniency can be given in terms of freaks of nature.
Alright so I started exploring the island and a couple of things hit me.
1: entering the shack caused my followers to be stuck in it 2: one of the railings in the guest house is just floating completely seperate from the actual loft. 3: Back right corner of shack has no texture
Honestly this is an awesome mod. I love seeing this island brought into Skyrim and I love the dungeon so far. The fact that it comes with it's own music set is amazing and it feels so unique! Thanks for not making me chase children around too!
hey is this save game comatible? i have a high level character with a lot of quest and new land mods so i'd like to know before i dont want to risk to break my game

For those unaware, check around the lone grave stone for the clue to its location...
