    -CHANGELOG-
    (LOCKED/STICKIED)

Added v0.06. First person DOF is now fixed thanks to Marty McFly's new DOF. Preset should be more optimized now, and installation has been paired down a bit. Startup time should be drastically reduced. Please perform a clean installation if possible.

    UPDATE: JANUARY 2017
Hey everyone, thanks for helping each other out in the comments here and keeping this mod going, even though I've been away from development for a few months now due to work. Starting today I am working on a new version which will be updated to be compatible with the latest ReShade, ENB, Marty's DOF, and improve the quality of the mod in general. Hang in there and hopefully it will be out in a couple of days. I wouldn't have been encouraged to come back to the mod without you guys' positive comments and private messages, so thank you!

I'm having an fps issue, where it dips around 40fps. I've tried other presets and this was the only preset that made my fps dip to 40s. I love this preset and want to use it so bad. Am I using wrong enb binaries perhaps?

Edit: I got it working well now and constant 60fps! Thanks for this wonderful enb :))

This looks like the exact ENB I been looking for, except it's made everything more hazy, not less. I followed the instructions and the comments in the thread about the pathing, but I'm getting nothing close to the clarity in the screen shots.

I cant seem to get this to work. It simply crashes my game at launch, for no glaring obvious reason. I followed the instructions, did it the same way I have many times before, and it magically stopped working. I edited dxgi to reflect my file paths, added in the Memory Limit as many people have suggested, and even got the DirectX Redist. I have no idea what is going on here, and it is really starting to piss me off.

The only reason I can think of off the top my head, why this would be happening is because, for some reason, your game doesn't agree with the ENB Series version. They are now at v0.320 I think. Most examples and videos you see on how to install an ENB preset or reshader was done with ENB Series v0.310. So, try to grab an older version of ENB Series and see what gives.

I had the same situation with FallOut 4, where my game crashed with the recommended/latest ENB Series version. I, for some reason, had to stick with a much older version to make the game start and keep running...

Yeah, still nothing. Updated graphics drivers, DXGI edits, everything installed as per instructions. It used to work for me before, so I have idea what changed.

I said this before on another game on which I used the Vogue ENB: Vogue is the only ENB (that I know of and have used) which doesn't seem to make that much difference, but once you deactivate the ENB, you immediately miss it...

In my opinion, Vogue is still one of the better ENB presets out there. Subtle, yet very accurate...

been trying out the earlier versions with RLO and Darker nights, this latest version (v0.06) seems to either disable one or both of them, or it is just extremely bright, am i missing something?

The ENBEffect settings make it so that the nights are very bright and the colors are desaturated.

You want to have a darker experience during night time? Want it more colorful?

Open the ENB overlay and under ENBEffect on the shader window on the right side of the overlay.

      Set the following:

      Gamma: 1.35-1.40 (you choose)
      Brightness: 1.30
      Contrast shadows: .40
      Contrast: 1.05
      Saturation: 1.15

This will help you retain a darker night once more hopefully

Agreed on that. Too bright and WAY too much blur for me. But, on a positive note: ENB DOES work on the beta release.

I also have Vivid weathers, RLO

This will help you retain a darker night once more hopefully. It certainly makes mine nice and immersive and dark as hell

It isn't just about more colorful or darker. Even dungeons are bright as a noon summer day.

Using those settings didnt help at all actually, all the colors and what not are kinda off...went back to 0.5.2 and it looks glorious again.

Again you need Vivid Weathers and RLO for you to see changes with what I did with ENBEffect Shader window.

My nights are dark, my dungeons are impossible to see without torches. If you tell me those effects didn't work, you didn't do something right or you are missing one of the mods.

People are installing RLO wrong and it's a problem right now. They are missing the core files and instead using the optional files because they try to use Nexus Mod Manager to add the file in manually and then install it through nexus mod manager. One of the optional file is brighter dungeons which would cancel out anything I just told you for interior dungeons.

Try to cover the entire base and have all the necessary mods to enhance your visuals. This post processing right out of the box in the latest version is certainly bright, however the tweaks I mentioned with the two mods I mentioned make it dark but retains color balance and light balance where light sources are. Make sure to grab your torches.

      Good Luck

If you need specifics on it and tried it yourself and can't get it to be what i"m mentioning here. Shoot me a message and we can troubleshoot. Assuming and giving up won't get you anywhere

Vivid Weathers is cancer for my fps, hella perfomance hungry, too much for that. Id rather use CoT. I do use RLO aswell.

And im not assuming I tried using those settings in general to see how it looks, it looks a little bit darker and better but its still way too blurry at some parts, the DoF is just insane and too bright still, 0.5.2 is perfect.

I'm not trying to pick a fight with you rather help you get a nice look to your game Shichi88. You are clearly assuming it's not working if you are not using Vivid Weathers and instead using COT and complaining you have a brighter night and brighter everything. COT has incredibly bright nights that the weather mod implements and has a grey filter to lessen the intensity of the lights in what the author believes is realistic for a cold and bleak environment of the north like Skyrim.

So if you are using COT obviously the settings tweaks I provided won't work. This is why I specifically stated you need Vivid weathers and RLO. I didn't ask you why you aren't using Vivid Weathers, you have to use it with RLO for the setting tweaks I mentioned.

Good luck and if you need more help let me know and I can help you if you need it.

Im not assuming anything actually...using CoT and RLO makes my nights/dungeons and what not nice and dark but not extremely dark and the brightness is just fine its not incredibly bright as you stated. To each their own, 0.5.2 was better imo. Even without having to use that cancer vivid weathers.

Edit: Tried this with Vivid/ Without Vivid. Just to clarify - no go

If you have a non standard installation directory, check the dxgi.ini file and make sure its pointing to the right directorys, mine wasnt and I had to correct. After doing so the game looked way better less milky and bright

Looks like this mod if not already dead, we are not getting more then one last update. Or at least not any time soon. Sad thing tho, because this is the best ENB for SE (also for FO4) so far.

Bravo, this looks great! I've turned off the DoF though as it seems rather unpredictable. Other than that, 10/10!

Hey Gamevogue, can you let others know who like Kyokushinoyama a.k.a. Oyama (creator of three amazing ENBs K Pure Light, Kountervibe Northern Light and Kinematic Southern Light) to please help him out on donations. He is in need of financial support to continue to work on his upcoming projects for SE. Even if its a little. He's working with his wife on the Pure Light project and putting a lot of energy into the project www.purelight.fr . If you will be kind to mention it somewhere at least in your description page or sticky I would really appreciate it.

Here's his release of some shaders http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/5305/?
