There are 8 x Strange and possibly futuristic relaxation devices hidden around skyrim! But you only need 7 to win The Staff of Translation. 4 sofas are hidden in quest locations which you can only visit once. 4 are hidden in High Hrothgar Whiterun Solitude Winterhold
Idiots Bane: can be obtained by talking to Wowbagger after the final Chekren attack and before "going to see the big girl".
Ban Hammer will eventually be awarded by Elianora.
All other spells can be won via the games at the fairground.

SEEK YE THE CHICKEN OF SHAME!
In whiterun (close to the Talos statue) you'll find a stone chicken who you can activate to progress quest stages. Additionally, he will also engage in contemplation regarding of the mysteries of the universe (for a small fee).

Important!
After the scene featuring Gopher, do not use the sofa before Wowbagger reaches it! It will break the quest.

As stated in the description; Phase One of this quest can go wrong under certain conditions. There is a script in place to check if any of his intended victims are Dead, but that doesn't allow for any death mid scene (sudden vampire attack etc). The script also doesn't allow for major changes in their routines (aftermath of the civil war for example)
There are 7 well known NPCs that Wowbagger has to insult before you are awarded with his summon spell. The npcs need to be in the same location as Wowbagger in order for his insult scene to fire. You'll know that he's waiting via a message displayed. Once you see this message, talk to him if his victim is nearby. Note: If they are currently in a scene of their, it's best to let them finish it first.

I love Douglas Adams and it's in my top ten favorite mods, but I'm always stuck in chapter 2 waiting for wow to insult everyone else. I took him to the wild but he didn't do what he should do. Wouldn't he curse the first time he went there? Should I go more often?although i take him to wild like three times
Make sure you're away from any map markers and just stand there. Don't move. I usually go to the shoreline next to where you build Lakeview Manor and wait there. He will insult you then give you his summon spell. Once he disappears, summon him and his quest will progress.
Man it's been a while but yeah, I could encounter them on the main road to Markarth from the east. Also there was a one near Kynesgroove but that was long time ago and I haven't played the mod in a while. Initially I wanted this mod as an optional way to fool around at the end of the playthrough.
A word of warning to anyone running this mod with Simplicity of Snow: it'll crash the game when Wowbagger teleports the player away from the Statue of Meridia due to Wowbagger\rlg\azuranomoon.nif. To fix the issue without editing the mesh, one can simply set the snow shader of SKQFakeAzura to null.
This is such a fun mod I love it, I am going to have to search for that stone chicken in Whiterun, think my flower mods may be hiding it and I am using the mod AI Overhaul which gives Jon Battle-Born a schedule so he's no longer holding that beam up 24/7 and so had to spawn him to me to get Wowbagger to insult him. Next playthrough I'll hunt for the chicken.
Hey I just found your mod and I haven't really started it yet. I am loving it and I know how to get the summon spell. The one thing I am worried about is the uninstall thing you talked about. Is this mod going to affect all of my character profiles?
