Still my absolute favorite Dawnguard armor retexture in game. The pictures do not do it justice and it isn't grainy, just the pics are. In game this is beautiful and I've used it going on nearly 2K hours. Great work like all your stuff redtox and endorsed and kudos a long time ago. Thanks for sharing these!

As long as it doesn't change the meshes it will work. This replacer is texture only so it will work with cbbe

I keep seeing these wonderful mods but... Someone really needs to make a mod where the brigandine (or maybe lamellar there is no -exact- real world equivalent) vest from the armor, leaving the gambeson. AKA, an actually light dawnguard armor.

Probably need to properly make the gambeson though, bethesda likely only made the portions that'd be visible once the vest is on.

Either way tough, gambeson looks nice, is cost effective, and against the majority of weapons, is better than leather. Because layers... You have 5-7 shirts maybe? Put those on, you have created a shoddy form of gambeson, the "I literally have no other option" form of it. More advanced forms of gambeson armors would have special interior designs to make them harder to cut through as well, but at the cost of well... Cost, more specifically a bloating of the cost due to it requiring more work, and being superior quality anyways, depending how much the dawnguard would be willing to spend, they'd be able to armor up their troops quite well with gambeson alone. Those little vests of plates (again, reminiscent of brigandines and lamellar, though no exact to what either are, look them up though you'll see the comparison. Also look closely at lamellar's structure and you'll see why its not lamellar, and brigandines, the plates are inside the armor, not outside I state that because some pictures you can find look like Dawnguard vests but, thats in asthetic design only, they're SEWN inside for proper durability, I could discuss this further with anyone who wants to)

OK this is a long rant, and I don't wanna waste it, so enjoy this horror.

But uh, this mod is good yeah.

So i bought skyrim special edition to begin with, and it seems none of the dlc has been moved over, am i just screwed out of this mod unless i pay $40? (the old version and the dlc itself)

Dont understand that. Special Edition has ofc DLC support.
You cant even play it without any of the DLCs.

So basically you are doing something wrong

Just have to say I love this mod. I was wondering if there was any chance for an xbox one version of this to be ported? It's quickly become essential in my PC playthroughs and I'd love to see it brought to xbox so I could enjoy it there as well. Thank you.

Version reports as "2018-04-08" for me. I believe that is due to the mod being installed on that date. There is no file version on this mod. Please fix.
