I did once! It was only around the equivalent of $10 USD per night. The manager told me I could have had a discount by booking my month-long stay all at once, but at $10/night I didn't even worry about it.
I'm able to buy the room for 1-3 days, the menu is working. However, I'm not actually rending the room. I'm able to then rent it for the night and then sleep. I'm not sure what it is interfering with this mod.
I have the dialogue show up for the multiple stays, but it will not take my septum and will not register as I have purchased the room. I can only use the regular one night.
Plus I think this mod kinda broke the first thieves guild mod - Keerava's Dialogue to get her to pay up after speaking to her friend doesn't even show up.
The crazy thing is I've been using this mod forever and never had a problem. I used it as recently as last night and, again, had no problems. But then I rebuilt my mod list as I often do, adding a few small mods and removing others, and for the first time ever this mod stopped working. Same problem described in this post.
"But for the regular one-night stay present in vanilla, changing this variable will not cause the dialogue to change. It will always say 10 gold, but it will still take whatever value you have it set to when purchasing. I could address this, but it would require an edit to the generic dialogue quest and I don't want to do that in the interest of compatibility."
How would I go about doing this in xedit? This is the only thing that bothers me in this otherwise perfect mod. I set my rental prices to 100>250>500>1500 respectively.
There are no checks for the token placed by Inns Can Be Closed into the inventory of the innkeepers, so the extended stay will always be available. Edit: Got a fast compatibility patch done, am waiting for the author's approval to release.
I like the portable chests Campfire add-on, but I wasn't expecting the chests to link to each other. Is there any way to have unique instances of chests, i.e. a chest in Riverwood wouldn't share storage with a chest in Whiterun?
Edit: I found Solars Portable Containers (SE) does what I'm looking for, so I'm using that now.
I'm not sure of any incompatibility between the two, because I don't use Become a Bard. I won't be making a patch personally, but anybody else is welcome to do it!
There is one. When you play at an inn, as well as paying you the innkeeper is supposed to give you a room for the night, and now that doesn't happen. I thought it was probably this. Sadly I have no idea how to patch it, so unless you can give me some kind of hint...
EDIT: problem possibly solved. Load BaB after Extended Stay. The extended stay options still come up in dialogue, and the innkeeper gives you a room. I will make sure extended stayage actually works and let you know if there's any problem.

Edit: So I just installed AI Tavern Fix and the associated patches for Extended Stay and Become a Bard and it's working again.

Thanks
Damn....will there be a patch for that somewhere down the line?
