4.1 is a very minor update to make peoples lives easier when using Hunters Not Bandits and Brawl Lines Expansion in the same mod list. Since Jay added my conditions to the dialogue lines which they share, I returned the favor and added his since they don't require BLE as a master. The end result is that it doesn't matter in which order the two mods are placed, because they now don't conflict.
Yep they can. I tried to minimize them as much as possible to avoid the need for patches, but nothing beats manual patching if you have the time and patience.
It's one of those, when you notice, it's not something that you can unnotice. My curse was that I originally noticed it 5 minutes after getting out of Helgen at 2011.11.11 on launch. Before I getting over the first ridge I heard what I thought was a bandit screaming bloody murder at what I thought was some poor enemy. When I had eye contact and saw what was going on, I paused the game and walked away. When I got back I thought oh well someone will fix that quickly, so no problem really... 5 years later... well, I've had enough XD
The first time I got the "Those are College of Winterhold robes, aren't they?" line in that jolly Altmer voice right before the Psijic scene I nearly spit out my drink. I'm not sure I actually want it fixed. 😂

Anyone know of any mods that do the opposite? As in, enemies that kill you will either comment on the way you died or let the others know they killed the threat. That'd be pretty immersive. Would need a bit of VA as I imagine there's not much usable dialogue for that. This mod is great btw.
Not exactly that but Jay Serpa's dialogue mods expand the lines that a lot of the generic voice types can say. Worth a look if you're not already using them.
Could this be responsible for bandits now drawing weapons and silently watching me when I enter warning range, where they used to taunt me repeatedly? Could it be because... I have always been... a bunny?
RUN WHILE YOU CAN! In all honesty it should not be responsible for this. It checks for if the target is dead or is an animal on a lot of specific dialogues. Btw you're not a dragon priest bunny by any chance? No? My gut feeling is that you're running some kind of mod which improves their detection so you're now in their warn range but them not taunting you, nope unless you are dead or a bunny.

After another session with the same deployment, the same bandits taunted me like they used to. I guess it was a hiccup coinciding with my addition of HNB, not my hoppy disposition. Thanks for the quick and thorough response!

What seemed simple when it came out, proved to have some conflicts sometimes with other mods, needing some refinements, and you just managed it all like a pro.
...not to mention your legendary humour (no need for a Humour SE, original flavour is already perfect ) and fun spirit, that GIF of the Raccoon made also my day
