You don't, it is one of the other, depending on if you have the optional Adoptable Plugin file (which need to overwrite the main esp file (main download still needed though as it contains all her model and textures etc.)
You can't adopt her and have her as a follower at the same time, but I managed to marry her so she lives in my home in solitude and I can still have her as a follower. When I dismiss her she will go to Proudspire manor, plus I can also buy and sell things from/to her. The only problem is that there's no moving dialog so I can't move houses unless I edit some files manually
Instead of marrying her (weird) you can get the mod My Home is Your Home then you can tell her whatever house is her new home and be able to move with her.
Does Raeza not have any custom dialogue or quests associated with? Based on what I can see here she just uses one of the generic child voices and stuff... from that image in the description i was expecting some kind of quest or at least some custom dialogue and stuff
No, she gets her dialog purely from base game lines, and via RDO, nothing tailored specifically to her, and no quests associated either, she just plugs into base game/whatever modded follower framework you use
I do not know for sure myself, (think the SE version of that was uploaded at best around, if not after I stopped doing anything with Skyrim). However taking a look at the RDO lite page under the There was also a list of mods that are known to require the full version of RDO: Which I suspect it taken from the LE version, but still includes "Raeza - Follower and Adoptable", which despite lacking the SE designation there, this is a 1:1 conversion of that, so the safe bet would be to say, it probably is not enough with the Lite version (Since I just converted the original Raeza to SE, I am not the original creator, I don't actually know neither exactly how RDO works, or to what extends this mod uses it, so the above is really just mostly guesswork, based on well what is written on RDO lite mod page)

aft and rdo had a conflict with raeza, so, I guess I don't get story or custom dialogue, unless that wasn't already a thing then, well, I still don't have other functions, but follow and stay works I guess
for those who install with a mod manager, please be aware that the files that need to go in your data folder, are in a subdirectory, so you will need to move them to your data folder for this mod to work
