This is a converted mod from the original skyrim. I am not the author but I will do my best to answer any questions.
Only install one version. Installing more than one at a time will likely cause problems.
The description is copied from the original mod but for the most part should be applicable. Just be aware that any links in it will be pointing to original Skyrim mods, not Special Edition mods.
The optional body files mentioned in the description are included in the optional files section. USE CAUTION AS THEY OVERWRITE most if not ALL DJQ Follower mods AND MAY ERASE ANY ARMOR OR WEAPONS YOU HAVE GIVEN THEM AND ALL OF THE DJQ MODS WILL HAVE THE SAME BODY. Do not try to use the LINK TO oldrim optional bodies or you will likely have problems

First off, thank you so much for porting this mod over to SSE! I'm really enjoying it.
Quick question - she doesn't seem to want to wear a chest piece (regardless of armor value or type), and some armors she does wear, there's clipping. I'm hoping to fix it somehow, but I'm no modder by any means.
Is there a direction you can point me in, or is there any additional info I can provide?
First the clipping is probably caused by using incorrect body armor on the npc. If the npc is cbbe as is the case here then you will probably want to put cbbe armor on her. Also there can be a lot of difference between one cbbe body and another and since the armor and follower are made by different people then you can have differences. You may be able to use bodyslide on the armor to fix clipping but I don't know how to use it. As far as the chest piece you mentioned what armor exactly is she not taking? Is the dynasty or one of the sevenbase armor? Or the blood Valkyrie armor?
Thanks for the fast reply. It's any and all armors. Yeah, using Bodyslide is still a mystery to me, as most all modding is at this time, since I just started playing with PC mods last week (that should tell you how much of a noob I am!).
I am also finding that followers refuse to not pick up the nearest bow and equipping it in favor of anything else, but that likely has nothing to do with the mod.
The Narika follower does this as well with her boots (in her case she equips the boots, but her original clips the equipped ones).
I see in the optional files you can download Sara as UNP, would that be a better move since most of the armors I like are UNP? Skeletons, meshes, body types, etc., and what they go with and when is something I'm figuring out yet.
it might be worthy to note, that earlier last week equipping her with the Dark Hunter armor mod did work for a while (a mod found in game through the "mods" section), but has since stropped working when I had to reinstall the game a few days ago. I was using v1.1, but updated to v2.0.
Unfortunately, I have no clue which mod is interfering since I played with other followers and just noticed this earlier yesterday when I picked her back up as a follower in game.
Yeah take a look at the description and warning on the sticky post. The 2.0 version will erase any armor on her when upgrading from 1.1. basically the 2.0 pools the resources from all of the DJQ mods so that if you select a body type for one of them they will all have that same body. It only applies to the DJQ mods. If you want them to all have the same body that's fine but if you want some to have one body type and others to have another then stick with the 1.1 version. Yes, if you favor unp then use the unp body overrides. As far as the bows I think that's a problem with skyrim itself but I am pretty sure you can fix that with a mod called amazing follower tweaks. It's also great at armor management which means you can assign a follower any armor or clothes no matter if it's better or not. It also has the benefit that they will stay equipped with what you gave them even when released.
I was not able to duplicate your problem with the chest armor or the boots clipping. Maybe something went wrong when you upgraded to 2.0. I recommend that you completely uninstall this mod, then run your game and save it, then reinstall with the version of your choice. Hopefully that will fix your problem. Let me know how it goes.
PS. If you want the unp version you have two options either install version 1.0 from the main file section or if you want the 2.0 then you need to first install the cbbe 2.0x from the main files and then one of the unp options from the optional files section and say yes when asked to overwrite. I know it sounds confusing but it is what it is.

So, I tried to install the DJQ Followers SSE CBBE HDT file from optional files thinking it would install all three followers, but no luck - the mod isn't even showing in my plug-ins list, and it downloads as "Sara Stormrage standalone."
I'm such a newb, I feel like a complete idiot - but, I guess that's the price of learning. On that note, thank you again for all your help!!
First off, if you are going to install the follower pack, be sure to uninstall the individual follower mods first or you will likely have problems. Second, for the follower pack you have to install the main file DJQ Followers Azeroth Cross Over SSE V2.0X first before you install the optional CBBE HDT file. That's why you aren't seeing it the esp is in the main file.
Ps don't worry, we all have to start someplace. You are not a idiot, you just have to learn like the rest of us. The djq followers are a bit confusing anyway even for experienced modders.
I think that worked, especially when downloading Follower Tweak mod; LOTS of options, a whole new barrel of monkeys there for me. Only problem is, I married Sara in a previous save, but am now missing my hot wife (hot in a Jessica Rabbit kind of way).
Unfortunately she's missing part of her lower leg behind her armor, but I can deal.
I equipped the Amulet of Mara, but no dialogue options for her or anyone else, so looks like I'm going stag the rest of this play through, not sure if there's a fix or not
