Used to run just fine, not (horribly) often that it is needed but on the odd occasion i felt this nasty urge to be nice and revive a stranger i found dead, or people that reeeaally pissed me off and got accidently malicious slaughtered beyond that needed to....it was a damn nice addition and got a few good laughs at other ppls expense...
I am on Special Edition and the item in question is stating under the same regard, but as of late the fucker keeps bullshitting me saying "its not compatible and is only so with the normal Skyrim (like, not for Special or Anniversary Editions alike) and by GOD..dammit...i would actually give that a solid 10 out of 10 backed up with these Negan sized sack on its chin....but hell...now i don even feel like touchin myself tonight cuz i think its what super legged me (and almost made me rage quit 5x 😂😂🤣)
Ok, but all jokes aside, are you able to take a quick beat around its bushes to trim that s#*! up, maybe just revamp or redo it instead as an enchantment i can put on a certain wep type (like skyforge steel, same wep type. if possible non compatible to any other variety?)....
EDIT: To any who chose to use this...always save all the damn time, i suggest every 5 mins do a save, keep reusing same 5 saves, do not exceed 100, delete any below the 100 mark, there is a limit....but if u do this, and you are on that one slim chance u need this, do that save, load said save then save again....exit game, download this....enter game, save, load said save then save again (should do that ALL the live long!!!! whilst dl'ing s#*! that is)...and once you saved their sorry ass do the surefire save crap and delete, repeat upon entering...then bam, big Bubba jailbird Ray is ur Uncle and best sleep with one eye open n' send a search party with psychiatrist for you in the morn.......yeah.....
found out this mod is making my game lag every 5-10 minutes. is this still compatible? asking as vortex says "made for another game" and disabling this makes skyrim run fine no lagging every 5 mins (when i mean lagging i mean fps goes from 60fps down to 2-4fps! to the point i just die as its unplayable at 2fps
Hi, just noticed your message. This mod has a tiny script set to fire every 5 minutes that adds the mace to the inventory if it's not already there. So it's physically possible (although unlikely) if your scripting system was loaded to the breaking point, you could see this behavior.
Thank You, ! Tecnically they were dead, but if pair this with draw duel mod xD and use draw duel on what's his face's sister in riverwood traders, n end up killing her, sven and faendahl hate you even tho you used this mod to resurrect her xD ahhh well ... minor thing Heh Endorsed Tracking Kudo'd
Uhh... So, it runs one script every 5 minutes, which tests if player has this mace in his inventory or not? I don't think that it is going to be good for players who have a lot of script-intensive mods... I mean - even single straw can break a camel's back... Maybe, it is better to start a new quest and make this mace a quest item, so noone could just drop it? o_o
There is a very good reason for this: It's done this way because of Alternative Start mod. Alternative Start will wipe the players inventory when picking a starting scenario for a new character. The player will lose the mace in the process so a mechanism to recover the item is needed. It is kept at 5 minute intervals to avoid performance issues.
might be a bit late to point this out, but if the only reason it runs this script periodically is to prevent an event that only potentially happens at the start of a new game (and that only if you have the relevant mod active) from making you lose the mace, why not either just place it flagged as non-respawning in a visible location or make a simple quest with the mace as a reward, perhaps from an auto-engaging NPC in Whiterun near the Dragonsreach so you basically can't miss it unless you just don't do the main quest? either way it'll bypass any initial inventory wipes, then it can be the player's responsibility to keep it, leave it, or sell/drop it somewhere where it'll get despawned at their own whim
Keeping the Resurrection Rod in your inventory can save you some headaches caused by other mods or human error. When a mod created monster kills someone that you need alive this is a much easer option than looking up that NPC's Id and using console commands. I don't have to use it often, but am glad to have it when I need it. It's also great for adjusting game balance with Simply balanced ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/15541 ). Find or spawn the NPCs that you want to balance. Fight, rebalance, resurrect with rod, and repeat until you tweak in the balance exactly the way that you want it.
I got this mod because a couple of useful NPCs in Whiterun were killed in a vampire attack, which was mightily inconvenient, but boom! Now they're back.
After that, I played around with it to see what I could do with it. So far, I haven't noticed any performance problems with having it installed, or any weirdness with other mods or any other technical issues, and I run a heavily modded game, so if something was going to conflict, I'd probably see it.
Anyways, here's some things I noticed with it.
- You can use it on anything that just got killed, including dragons. With dragons, you absorb a soul the first time you kill them, but if you resurrect them and kill them again, they won't provide another soul, but they will be filled with loot.
- The same thing goes for anything you killed and soul-trapped. You only get a soul on the first kill.
- Creatures or people that were hostile towards you when you killed them wake up still hostile, so you can fight them over and over again should you want to level up your fighting skills.
- If you kill someone and loot their body, they will respawn with similar but not identical armors, weapons, potions, etc. Animals will respawn with more meat and fur to harvest, etc. So if you want to farm for loot or a particular set of weapons or armor, this is a potential way to do it.
- The bounty you get for killing someone isn't removed if you resurrect them.
- Dead animals or people that were placed there by the game cannot be resurrected.
Like other god-items, you can distort your game if you want to with this, but really, that's not a natural fit for this mod. It really is best used for what it is - an insurance policy against the random events that can kill off useful characters in the game.
Finally an opportunity to place (Trick) a live Hagraven into a Cell with their recently deceased sister. Fulfilling a quest I freed a Hagraven to wreak vengeance on another (her sister) Hagraven ended up in battle and I collected my reward for her release as previously agreed to. I placed the body of the newly deceased Hagraven into a nearby and lured sister following me into the cage. The Corpse of her sister was near enough I could strike her and reanimate her. Then I witnessed yet another fight to the death. I kept then going at it until I was bored and left them as I placed them. One dead, the other alive and locked up until someone frees the survivor.

Thanks for the mod, very much appreciated.
Good mod tho.
