    If you need to make the Lair a home for your followers, you can use any of these:

    * EFF
    * AFT
    * My Home is Your Home

    NOTES

    For those who can't find the main entrance, the three pictures after the introductory screenshot gives you a hint: the secret hatch is in the left gatehouse (as soon as you enter Whiterun). Turn left, past the guard, then left further into the gatehouse. It is clearly signed with a Shadowmark and a lantern.



    Q: Why their names are in Italian?

    A: As we notice the surname of Steward Avenicci, I though it appropriate to use Italian names for the NPCs as I noted that Imperial Cyrodillic names are either in Latin/Roman or Italian.

    On picture 22, the "can use imperial mail here" pic, what follower mod are you using and is that outfit on her a separate mod?



    Also great looking mod! Much props. Ragged Flaggon never looked better in my option. Turned it into a dope player home! Another download in my load order.

      the answer is no. the secret exit is covered by a building.

      I had to find ways of trying to make the mod work with most city overhauls, including and especially JK Cities, where nearly every possible spot for which to add an entrance is blocked off by an asset placed by that mod, resulting to the placement of the entrance to one of the gatehouses.

      the outside one not the guardhouse one. Metropolis modifies outside the cells outside the city proper adding to the city.

      I only use 2 mods that metropolis doesnt play with nicely that have secret or back doors
      underground lair: outside exit

      wind district breezehome reborn: secret exit, its author moved its exit elsewhere with a recently released patch.

    Great Lair, I love the overall feel of it and that hidden entrance came in handy!
    Adrienne was giving me flack though since I stopped coming around to smith at her shop..

    One thing that bugs me though, and I've assumed up to know it's just the engines quirkiness..
    but for a lair that 'for years it operated as a free hostel for rogues and killers', there sure are alot of Whiterun Guards walking about!

    I guess you can't bounce just anyone outta your place! hehe, kudos and thanks much!

    Really well made :) great addition to Whiterun.

    Just, the name "LaPaglia" is a little immersion breaker since there's no italian in TES, there's imperials but they have roman names, not italian even if it's pretty close :)

    And some bizarre light on lanterns:


    Just a slight detail, otherwise it's perfect :)

      Regarding the choice of names, it was chosen because the Whiterun steward also happened to have an Italian surname, but otherwise given names were Roman.

      I decided to use that kind of glow for the lamps because due to game engine limitations it's not possible for me to add more light sources which would cause a strobe effect.

    realy love the look of it but i must say it is a bit too dark down there for my liking but then i switched lighting mod and it looks now even better :)
    The only problem i have with this mod is that i can't use the "bless home" or "my home is your Home" here, so my Companions don't stay here wich is kinda sad.
    (i checked if "bless home" and "My Home is your home" are working in other added homes, no problem there.

      Some follower management mods like EFF have the function to allow followers to stay. From what I remember, MHYH is supposed work only if a cell is flagged as a player home.

      i now use My Home is Your Home (MHiYH 2plus) and it works liek a charm.
      Realy is the best player home.

    Is it safe for me to change all the npcs here to vampires using better vampires without messing your mod up? This would make a lovely vampire coven for me.
