Skyrim Special Edition

Explanation:

The in-game counters display currently has a compatibility issue with certain mods which employ dll hooking with a custom D3D11.dll file:

  • ENB Series
  • ATTK
  • Realistic Colors and Real Nights (RCRN)
  • HiAlgoBoost
  • Ultimate Lighting Overhaul
  • SweetFX
  • RadeonPro

If you happen to use a mod like the ones mentioned here, the in-game counters in the monitor might not work. Some users have reported success when using this with the newer version of the ENB series, and that both seem to work fine together. However, if this doesn't work, you may experience either a black screen, or only SPM 64 or the custom mod eventually hooks, but not both. If problems occur, simply uncheck this option and restart Skyrim.

Here's a break down of what will/won't work in this scenario:

What won't work:
  • In-Game Counters.
  • FPS Graph on main SPM window, which will display either "0" or "n/a".

What will work:
  • Memory Graph.
  • VRAM Graph.
  • Disk I/O Graph.
  • CPU Graph.
  • CPU Temperature Graph.
  • GPU Graph.
  • GPU Temp Graph.
  • Threads Graph.

Steps to Get Working:

Option 1: There isĀ an option in the SPM Setup window to allow called "Attempt support with Custom D3D11". Use this to tell SPM to try running with the dll.

Option 2: Temporarily move the custom D3D11.dll file in your game directory to a backup folder and try SPM again.

IMPORTANT NOTE!
Please note that this is a limitation with SPM, and not related to the other mods listed here. I'm currently researching on how to resolve this.
