Skyrim Special Edition

Not all mods listed here are available for all platforms. MCM (Mod Configuration Menu) requires SkyUI. Before using a compatibility patch, make sure it supports the latest version of both mods to avoid issues.

Known compatibility list

Releases:

  • Skyrim VR: Compatible. Vokrii stays under the 18 perk limit for Skyrim VR and does not use animation events.

Creations:
  • Arcane Accessories: Compatible. Note that Arcane Accessories is significantly more powerful than vanilla, so you may want to restrain yourself in terms of Destruction perks.
  • Survival Mode: There is a bug in Survival Mode where the Peckish debuff grants +70% attack speed instead of the expected -30% if you have any other source of bonus attack speed. This affects the vanilla perks Quick Shot and Dual Flurry that also exist in Vokrii in an unmodified state. Should Survival Mode receive a bugfix or the Unofficial Patch or another source fix the issue, the fixes will apply to Vokrii as well as vanilla.

Mods:
  • Arrows and Bolts Tweaks (ABT): Third party compatibility patch available (SSE).
  • ASIS: Compatible.
  • Andromeda - Unique Standing Stones of Skyrim: Compatible.
  • Apocalypse - Magic of Skyrim: Compatibility patch available on the Apocalypse page (SSE/classic). If you downloaded Apocalypse from the Steam Workshop, use the compatibility patch on the Workshop instead (classic).
  • Ars Metallica: Compatible starting with Vokrii version 2.0.0. Minor conflict: Load Vokrii below Ars Metallica because both mods modify a single script (MineOreScript) to add experience when you mine ore, but Vokrii's version also includes the functionality for the High Yield Mining perk. Alternatively, download the script separately (SSE) and load the two mods in any order.
  • Audio Overhaul for Skyrim (AOS): Third party compatibility patch available (SSE). The patch is technically not necessary if you load Vokrii below AOS because the conflict is caused by AOS modifying perk related records that contain sounds that are not actually audible in game, so having Vokrii override them by loading Vokrii below AOS is just fine. If you want to load Vokrii above AOS, you do need the patch.
  • Beyond Skyrim - Bruma: Compatible. If you want, download a small patch (SSE) to carry over the changes to the Investor perk in Bruma.
  • Blade & Blunt: Compatible. Blade & Blunt includes a hidden "combat hit spell" (on-hit proc) perk to implement its guaranteed stagger feature, which is mutually exclusive with various Vokrii combat perks and is designed to take priority over those perks, breaking them. Blade & Blunt recommends Scrambled Bugs, which makes procs no longer mutually exclusive and fixes this issue, but you do have to actually use Scrambled Bugs.
  • Brawl Bugs Patch: Not compatible. The Brawl Bugs Patch is outdated and does not fix all instances where a brawl is erroneously interrupted. Vokrii comes with the more effective Modern Brawl Bug Fix, so the Brawl Bugs Patch is no longer necessary and can be uninstalled.
  • Colorful Magic: Compatible.
  • Combat Evolved: Compatible.
  • Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul (CACO): Some assembly required. Both mods modify the Alchemy skill tree and the mod that is lowest in the load order takes priority, so you will need to make a choice. Alternatively, use the third party patch (SSE).
  • Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade (CCOR): Compatible starting with Vokrii version 2.0.0. Minor conflict: Both mods modify a single script (MineOreScript) to add experience when you mine ore, but Vokrii's version also includes the functionality for the High Yield Mining perk and CCAR's version adds some MCM configuration options. Choose which functionality you prefer, then load that mod below the other to give it precedence. Alternatively, download the merged script (SSE) to get both and load the two mods in any order.
  • Dawnguard Arsenal: Third party compatibility patch available (SSE).
  • Deadly Combat: Compatible.
  • Economy Overhaul and Speechcraft Improvements: Compatible. Use the lite version of EOSI.
  • Elemental Destruction Magic: Third party compatibility patch available (SSE).
  • Enhanced Blood Textures: Compatible. The Legendary Edition version of Enhanced Blood Textures comes with an outdated fix for the "Brawl Bug", while Vokrii comes with the more effective Modern Brawl Bug Fix. Load Vokrii below Enhanced Blood Textures.
  • Forgotten Magic Redone: Compatible. Many spells added by Forgotten Magic Redone are not designed to make use of most Destruction perks. This is not a bug, but a design decision on the part of its author.
  • Growl - Werebeasts of Skyrim: Compatible.
  • Harvest Overhaul Redone: Third party compatibility patch available (SSE).
  • Hunterborn: Compatible.
  • Immersive NPCs in the Dark: Compatible. Immersive NPCs in the Dark comes with an outdated fix for the "Brawl Bug", while Vokrii comes with the more effective Modern Brawl Bug Fix. Load Vokrii below Immersive NPCs in the Dark.
  • Imperious - Races of Skyrim: Compatible.
  • Lost Grimoire: Compatible.
  • Moonlight Tales: Compatible.
  • Morningstar - Minimalistic Races of Skyrim: Compatible.
  • Mysticism - A Magic Overhaul: Compatibility patch available on the mod page. The patch adds new perks in order to fully support all Mysticism features.
  • Odin - Skyrim Magic Overhaul: Compatibility patch available on the mod page. The patch adds new perks in order to fully support all Odin features.
  • Perkus Maximus (PerMa): Not compatible. Both mods overhaul the same perk trees.
  • Phenderix Magic Evolved: Compatible. Load Vokrii below Phenderix Magic Evolved. Some conjuration spells in Phenderix Magic Evolved lack keywords and are therefore unaffected by most summoning perks. This is not a compatibility issue, but either a design choice or a bug in Phenderix Magic Evolved.
  • Phenderix Magic World: Compatible. Load Vokrii below Phenderix Magic World.
  • Poison Mastery: Third party compatibility patch available (SSE).
  • Realistic AI Detection: Compatible.
  • Requiem: Not compatible. Both mods overhaul the same perk trees.
  • Scoped Bows: Compatible.
  • Shadow Spell Package: Third party compatibility patch available (SSE).
  • Skyrim Community Uncapper (Elys' Uncapper): Compatible.
  • Skyrim Redone (SkyRe): The main Perks module of SkyRe is not compatible because it overhauls the same perk trees. The standalone modules such as Races and Standing Stones are compatible.
  • Smilodon - Combat of Skyrim: Compatible.
  • Sneak Tools: Compatible.
  • Spectraverse - Magic of the Magna-Ge: Compatible.
  • Stealth Skills Rebalanced: Partially compatible. Stealth Skills Rebalanced modifies several perks and therefore conflicts with Vokrii. You can however use the "Basic" version of Stealth Skills Rebalanced and load Vokrii below Stealth Skills Rebalanced, enabling Stealth Skills Rebalanced to modify stealth related game settings to make sneaking more realistic while allowing Vokrii to override its perk changes.
  • Summermyst - Enchantments of Skyrim: Compatible.
  • Thunderchild - Epic Shouts and Immersion: Compatible.
  • Tomebound: Third party compatibility patch available (SSE).
  • Trade and Barter: Third party compatibility patch available (SSE).
  • Undeath: Mostly compatible. Load Vokrii below Undeath. The problem is that Undeath makes several changes to vanilla conjured minions and as a result many conjuration perks will not work correctly. This is out of my control and it is unclear to me why Undeath is doing this.
  • Valravn - Integrated Combat of Skyrim: Compatible.
  • Weapon and Armor Fixes Redone (WAFR): Compatible.
  • Weapons Armor Clothing and Clutter Fixes: Third party compatibility patch available (SSE).
  • Weapon Parry Standalone: Compatible. Weapon Parry Standalone comes with an outdated fix for the "Brawl Bug", while Vokrii comes with the more effective Modern Brawl Bug Fix. Load Vokrii below Weapon Parry Standalone.
  • Wildcat - Combat of Skyrim: Compatible.
  • Wintermyst - Enchantments of Skyrim: Compatible.

Compatibility with other mods

  • Vokrii is compatible with mods that overhaul combat mechanics.
  • Vokrii is compatible with mods that add weapons and armor.
  • Vokrii is compatible with mods that add new NPCs.
  • Vokrii is compatible with mods that modify the vanilla smithing perks (Elven Smithing, etc), their associated crafting recipes and crafting requirements to make them more sensible, starting with version 2.0.0.
  • All mods that modify the same skills or perk trees will conflict with each other. If the other mod only modifies a few perks that are not essential to its functioning, load it above Vokrii so Vokrii has precedence.
  • Mods that add bound weapons will not be affected by several bound weapon perks without a patch.
  • Mods that add staves will not scale with the staff perks without a patch.
  • Vokrii repurposes the "proc" magic effects that are applied to every vanilla spell, such as Intense Flames. If your spells use the vanilla proc effects, they will support Vokrii perks. Some spell packs do not add these effects to their spells due to an oversight on the part of the author, in which case they will not be affected by those Vokrii perks. If your spells have unusual delivery methods and feature copies of the vanilla proc effects with the delivery method changed, a patch is required (as far as I know, this includes only Apocalypse).

Under Creation Club, I see that "Necromantic Grimoire" is not listed.  So this means that the Perks added by this mod will not be able to interact with the conjugation spells added by  "Necromantic Grimoire" ?

Does the 'harm' perk affect mod-added healing spells? I've noticed that an armor set in LotD adds such a spell to your character. I know the sun spells of dawnguard arsenal need a patch, but there's no mention of healing spells.

I may be asking too much but, could you consider adding a perk that allows you to create vanilla dwemer stuff at a forge???
I mean you have a "hacking perk in the lockpinck tree that allows you to have dwemer robots as companions, vanilla crafting armor/weapons at the smithing tree, why not something that allows you to create the rest of the dwemer stuff, like dwemer spiders, centinels etc.
    Like in perkus Maximus...
Even if you don't, I really want to use your perks collection which in my opinion are way better and more balanced than other perk overhauls, I just was wondering that could be fun
I respect you and any decision you make

Not lore friendly. PerMa is also not lore friendly. Also this is the compatibility notes.

What about making this mod so that you can pick and choose which trees you like from this one and mix and match with Ordinator? Is that possible?

Interactions between trees make this impossible, as well as 18 different uploads being highly impractical.

Can someone tell me if there will be compatibility issues with Immersive College of Winterhold? I am asking because IcoW has an ordinator patch and I guess it should require a vokrii patch as well. Sorry if that was a noob question!

Been really looking forward to this mod for a while. Quick question re. compatibility with Kryptopyr's mods on Special Edition - I'm guessing that Trade and Barter will conflict because of the perk changes but is Vokrii compatible with WACCF and ACE ? I'm kind of assuming so, as you've got compatibility listed for WAFR on Oldrim.
Edit: sorry if this should go in the main Vokrii posts section.

      The same should apply.

Trade and Barter can be loaded above Vokrii and you'll lose the perk changes, but they're not fundamental to T&B.
