Just wondered, this gave me inspiration to make an own Skooma mod, so I modifyed it a bit, added the original "Morrowind sound" and added an "Super Skooma" + a chest with a few of them in Riverwood.

So, I just wonder, could I upload this Mod with your permission? Going to add links to the original file on both Skyrimnexus and Steam workshop if I get your permission! ^^

Skooma in Morrowind was much hardcore then this Morrowind-style Skooma because:

In Morrowind: Magicka directly depends of Intelligence, Maximum level of Magicka for all races = 100, for Bretons = 150, for Altmers = 250, 450 -- is Absolute maximum for Altmer-Atronach bithsign. In Skyrim you can easy to get 500, even 1000p of Magicka, Master-spells cost about 500 Magicka, so drain 20 points is nothing. Then you should drain 1/5 of PC's Magica -- if player has 300 Magica, then Skooma drains 60.

In Morrowind: Agility is the governing Attribute for Block, Light Armor, Marksman, and Sneak. It means drain Agility is drain all this attributes.

Also -- "drain" means not "decrease for 60 sec", Intelligense and Agility weren't restore after 60 sec, you had to go to a temple to by (yeah, no free blessings!) some cheap blessing to cure and restore your stats, or use potions or spell.

Fortify Strenth 20p in Morrowind means additional 100p of carriyng weight (thats why we were drinking Skooma so much: to get more loot to trader for 60 seconds -- for this reason Skooma was so expensive and rare), and fortify one- and two-handed meele, not only hand-to-handed.

Skooma in Morrowind was only for bringing your loot to nearest city with traders, despite of low Magicka (because 5 bottles of Skooma was making Intelligence about zero or even negative value) for a while increasing speed and carried weight.

I havent played morrowind, my first Tes game is Oblivion and this is my favourite skooma mod. Ive started with your addictive skooma mod but this one is the best imho. Thanks for sharing... I cant endorse now cause Ive downloaded it on Steam, but Ill give it an hour to endorse since youve done a great job and endorsements are welcome to this kind of job. Thanks again.

This makes me miss morrowind immensely, anyone else ever hear of the morroblivion project? might be interesting to see if they ever port that over to skyrim... but i can probably get in trouble for mentioning it.

@bluestin, i always ended up dyeing from repetitive fall damage, maybe thats what your remembering?

Wow, now this is skooma the way it was meant to be... The only thing that would make this a homerun would be a "drunk" shader effect.

    Still, this is pretty sweet.

Thanks for the feedback guys. feel free to also take a look at my Addictive Skooma mod. It has different effects, but it also feels a little more appropriate for skyrim. morrowind skooma is admittedly a little overpowered in skyrim, but it is as close to morrowind skooma as i could get it.

@cplwarr: moonsugar gave Fortify Speed, Dispel, Drain Endurance, and Drain Luck in morrowind. the thing is that moonsugar already has existing effects in skyrim which affect alchemy potions, so I chose to leave it alone for now.

@Bluestin: I dont remember dying from too much skooma in Morrowind, but i could be wrong. I know there is a video floating around on youtube where a guy drinks 600 bottles of skooma in morrowind and runs around for a bit. i would add that if you use this mod and drink too much, and run too fast, it will crash your game (which could be interpreted as a form of dying haha).

@baronballbag: I went with unarmed for strength simply because it felt the most likely way someone would choose to fight while high/drunk. that said, if i get around to it i might add something like fortify carry as well. just 10 or so bottles will let you two hit giants with your fists (which is pretty awesome). take a look at the youtube video i linked in the video tab, it shows me playing under the influence of a lot of skooma with this mod, and i two hit giants with my fists.

+ strength should equal + 2 and 1 handed. Like, +20 2 handed, +12 1 handed, because getting stoked up on skooma seems more suited for berserker rage than fencing
