Funny, I clicked this mod actually hoping for the exact OPPOSITE of what this is.

As someone who likes to play agile or stealthy characters, I find dealing reduced damage on higher difficulties very annoying and balance breaking. It's very annoying to sneak attack an enemy and have it still be alive, then have it alert everyone around.

Same goes for when someone is 100 feet away and you fire a bunch of arrows in them and they're not dead, then they bash your face in.

I'd much prefer a mod that makes the player still deal normal damage on high difficulties, but the enemies deal much more (to keep it balanced and challenging).

Could you make one where on master difficulty, the player deals 1x damage but takes 3x damage?

Kudos to the Mod Author for really thinking about how to make this a better game!!!Awesome. One of the major influences when I was trying to figure out how to make this game better after a week of boring vanilla.

I totally agree with crazyjoe2k. I run all that stuff too and more such as no HUD, deadly combat, deadly traps, draugr shout fix... (hah! - I win ...jk)

It doesn't make sense to up monster damage too much or everything one-shot kills you. But if that's your thing there are mods that up enemy damage to 8X or more. So you might as well never increase health and I actually know some master players that never go past the original 100 health as it makes no difference to their play style on vanilla. And some styles of play are just not survivable with master vanilla 1-2 hit deaths.

At first look it would not seem to be such a difference--- but the difference between 1.5 and 2x damage in game allows for 2-3 hits on the player in medium armor most of the game. Health matters more. And this permits many more different styles of play and strategies. Way more fun and better.

So making master enemies do 1.5 damage in settings and adding lots of other tweaks to make them stronger in other ways (AI, double health, better spells, etc) makes for a way better game. I played the vanilla master for a week to level 45 and found that not only did I get very bored but I had the same play style with every encounter. Most of the time I was one shot killed if I varied that style too much.

I still use the other master setting for the player (1/2 damage, etc.)

So for example, I run Deadly dragons set to hard on top of that (which gives them armor + double damage/health in addition to master settings). I often will run away from dragons unless extremely prepared. So the game is still damned hard.

Great mod. A smart fix for the gameplay on harder difficulties wether by ingame setting or with mods.

Didn't ask you, now did I Murdath?
Anyways, I run this along PISE, Deadly Dragons, Wars in Skyrim, Warzones, AND Skyrim Occupation all at ONCE (they are ALL compatible together and with this!) so don't come to me about difficulty, I would fry you to a crisp faster than you could say hablajahblabla

As long as PISE doesnt directly alter the difficulty multipliers then there should be no problem. I dont think it does, so go for it This should have no compatibility issues

I haven't downloaded your mod yet, I was trying to do this but through item "balancing" mods, but I think the premise is brilliant and is exactly what I actually want
