Hi guys. So far I have ported several follower mod packs & UI mods with no issue. Since this follower pack has not been ported to SSE yet, I made one.
Can anybody who has ported this mod confirm that Kachina has no CTD issue after porting? I tried summoning her to my location and got CTD. I also tried to go near Whiterun Stables (where she is placed) and encountered CTD. Just opening the door from inside Whiterun also triggers the CTD due to it is nearby her location. If i fast travel to Riften then walk to the stables also produces the same error.
I have tried in LE, to summon her & went to the stables area with no issue at all.
What I did to port this mod pack was just resave Esp using CK and use NIF optimizer on head parts & body parts.
I really appreciate the help. This is the best follower pack with many beautiful followers and important to me.
As far as I know to port followers: Download the mod manually and extract it, then use NifOptimizer to optimize the meshes folder (for facegen and hairs check the "head part only"), the esp should work fine on SSE (I have been using some old esp without resaving them in CK) but you can try resaving it, then just move the files to Skyrim data folder and activate the mod
@PanDMuerto yea that's basically it for most follower mods.. the resaving in the CK is generally to avoid issues down the road as for some mods it can eventually lead to problems but not always.. it only takes a few seconds to resave in CK so I do it just in case.
Sanosukex, since you ported it to SSE, have you experienced a texture corruption when the followers enter pools and go nude, but outside pools they can walk nude ok..
Hi Liadys, Aloisia in my game has head texture issues. Looks like vanilla textures are creeping into the mix? Have uploaded a pic. I tried reinstalling, doing the disable/ enable thing but she won't change her appearance to match yours. Only thing I have done is use Valhalla skins (like I do on most of my follower NPC's). She is the only one of your followers who has this glitch. I have checked in xEdit and there are no conflicts so I have no clue?
Looked into the head nif and all the texture path for her face are correct..I didn't accidentally forget to change one off the vanilla texture. In theory, there shouldn't be any kind of glitch in itself. What I think may be happening is a different between skin mods. If you have replaced Warmaiden skin texture from Bijin (the one I use for this mod) for Valhalla skin, it may cause a difference in appearance between my game and yours. The skin texture mod that I privately use in my game may have altered also some of the detail maps (like freckles and stuff)..again causing a difference in appearance.
Thanks for the quick reply! I noticed that before I changed her skin, there was the dreaded head/body color mismatch which is normally a telltale sign that something is amiss. One thing that valhalla does well is blending in that kind of thing, so the image I upped doesn't look as pronounced as it might before I switched skins. Oh well, time for a full face helmet I guess LOL!
If there is a color mismatch between the body and head now that might be something else than a wrong texture pathway. Could be that there was a slight alteration of the skin color in the CK when I was making her. I will look into that when i get a moment.
Hi! Thanks for the great mod! I have a problem with Jeel'Sa, she appears to be unkillable. I know your followers are set essential however, I play a game where everybody outside of a handful of NPC's are non essential. So what I do is go into the MOD using xEdit and remove the essential flags in the NPC listings. Normally works fine, but for some reason Jeel'Sa remains essential. Never seen this before and don't know how to fix? She is the only NPC in your pack where this method doesn't work.
Jeel'Sa is set up exactly the same way as the other followers in the mod ( Opened the CK and checked to make extra sure I didn't accidentally checked some option while making her and there was nothing out of the ordinary). I can't say I know how to fix the problem of the essential flag not getting removed for her in xEdit. Maybe the edit didn't save properly?. It should work just the same as the others. There's always the option of playing in the CK for it otherwise to remove her essential flag. Matter of unchecking a box basically.

The CTD may be because something went wrong with the NIF optimization. I really don't know :/
