1) His hair color is a bit too bright, I guess it depends on the ENB but even when I disabled my ENB his hair was "glowing." Playing with bloom and other settings helped with this a little.
2) He follows too closely and pushes my character around.
Other than those two issues I love him, I really like the voice you gave him and all his random idles that add character. He looks so solemn and regal while also being a badass. Definitely a keeper, I love older and well-thought-out followers. He will live in my load order for a long time!
1) this is mostly an issue with vanilla hair try "Superior Lore friendly hair" (rough version) https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36510 this also makes brows and beard match with the hair and i will look into tweaking the color. structure for hair: \Textures\actors\character\hair
any1 else having trouble with giving yngvarr some tempered equipment at legendary and after dismissing him the tempering rank shuffles somewhere below legendary?
and after a while of using the trade dialogue it suddenly becomes unavailable till you restart the game?
im confused... why is he better at 1h at than using 2h lvl 81? found out when using show stats dialogue with UFO and confirmed by console (even tried ufo's console trick to force level scale)
Looks like a masterwork and i am in awe! But the file size is …enormous to say little. Not to be uncordial, but are the voice files the cause of this size?
A real norse berserker for a change! Also, I like the "last resort" bit on the description. I am not into followers of any kind, but this is too cool to pass up.
He stopped talking to me. As in I cannot press E to talk to him anymore. His name doesn't show up in subtitles when he speaks either. Only the sentence he utters. Help?
Edit: Reloading previous saves, it seems I cannot speak to Yngvarr after completing a certain mod quest. I don't think the quest itself affects Yngvarr though. In any case I've tried every related console command but I just can't seem to fix it.
just installed it on sse , but upon entering his Hall , the Game Freezes , i reckon it,s because of the Tri file,s ?
i did put it though nifoptimizer , perhaps that,s not correct when a Mod has these Tri Files , to optimize them with nifoptimizer, i have no idea to be honest
was simply wondering , can i do something to make him work in my game , really enjoyed this follower when i was playing oldrim
As I remember Yngvarr has beards that made by custom tri files, so nifoptimizer can't process those tri files. This is also why Yngvarr has not yet been ported to SSE.
aah i see , that,s to bad ,already had a feeling when i installed it and saw those Files in the Mod , was stubborn , just had 2 try , merci BowmoreLover
There will be a SE version in a few days up to 1-2 weeks. It will have different textures though and i have to fix some SE specific stuff first, like messed up magiceffect decriptions, facegen fixes and so on. @BowmoreLover As far as i know, tris don't need to be optimized, the tri is not exactly matching and SE doesn't like that. LE just doesn't care about this and while not matching, it even has a noticeable effect, SE is much more picky with such things. So for SE the long mesh tri will get removed, resulting in, thankfully, only a slight noticeable difference.
Thanks alot amigo,s , oh no no respons was very helpfull, i had never even seen a Tri file in a mod before, i,m happy if some1 takes their time to saye something , very often asking for something is without reply, really much apprecated
thanks engelbert looking forward to a sse version , this was one of my favorite when i was playing oldrim. i just no want to use one of those good , but over sexuall follower mods, this is nostalgic and just great:P
please take your time, hope you no mind me asking i,m using a follower framework , i think when you hawe it rready i should place Yngvarr beneath it i reckon ?
Yngvarr has separate NPCs for normal and transformation. In general, follower management mods such as NFF cannot handle those followers well. So don't recruit him from NFF.

Sorry for giving incorrect information.
