I don't understand the appeal of 'trees' being in whiterun, I mean is this a troll tactic considering there's so many mods that do the same thing but with various performances and tree placements?
And it'll be nice to have a simple mod that does nothing but add a few trees, with no other changes. Too many things mod Whiterun, and Whiterun is already taxing, unless you use mods that remove clutter from it (the only place I crash even more often is Riften). But a simple mod to add a few trees won't have much impact on resources but will look nice. This is just the mod I was looking for. :-)
DynDOLOD can create a texture atlas based on these trees. The LOD will show up if you use DynDOLOD. I used one of the older Whiterun tree mods and it worked perfectly with DynDOLOD.
Are you planning on making similar mods to the other large cities of Skyrim? I feel most of them are pretty empty.
I haven't downloaded yet as I don't want Whiterun to look awesome while the others look sad, but I love that it does what it says on the label, no more and no less.
I feel you. For now, it's only gonna be Whiterun, since it's been my only complaint. I've checked out places like Solitude though and Riften but there are just lots of buildings everywhere so it wouldn't make much sense having trees stick out of wooden fllors and such. Places like Morthal or Dawnstar imo seem fine since they're just outside in the wild. Markarth is full or stone. Falkreath already has a lot of green. Winterhold is full of snow? I don't think I've left one out. TLDR: I don't really know what to place in other cities. Trees wouldn't fit in most other places.
really kewl, I use whiterun trees lite but I also have to use ETAC and dawn of skyrim, will you do all cities, towns and villages and set them in one esp? I know thats a big one but would like to reduce the city overhauls and find the screen shots really good and would be a nice comproimise for me.
