Update! Today I decided I'd dabble around with YR and realized there were no facegendata's packaged in the mod(no idea how that slipped past me.. and the 1k people who downloaded xD), but while I was in CK fixing that, I decided I'd add a few more quality of life tweaks.
Here's the changes: -Cleaned up a few easter eggs that bugged out, causing a decrease in immersion levels. -Added FaceGenData to all npcs. -Vulture Claw is now enchantable. -Removed Toralan's fight option as it was a bit buggy. -Made it easier to jump across the small trap door for those who had issues doing so. -Adjusted Ralvir's movement in the final scene to(hopefully) make it seem smoother.
Simply download the main file, and overwrite with the new update.
Apologies to anyone who wanted this mod supported.. I deleted my old account but left this and my other mods up for anyone to use if they wish. Perhaps I'll return to modding one day.
Ran into a problem where the option to speak to the guy that's got a sack over his head is froze. Like I have restarted the instance a few times now and it's like the option to speak to him (dialogue selection) is not functioning.
Hmm, odd. Have you tried going back to an older save? Or perhaps save & reload. I did a few tests with the new update and his dialogue was functioning properly on my end, so I'm not quite sure what could be causing that.
I've tried going back to multiple saves but it doesn't work. What could be causing it on my end? I downloaded the updated files you provided and it still hasn't fixed it, but I also didn't overwrite the files (honestly not sure how to) so maybe that is the problem?
Nvm man, right after sending that I went back to try again and it worked! That last scene was so well done too. This is prob my favorite mod in a long time, very well done.
This guy named Ravir is nowhere to be seen. I've waited around the home, approached it from ever possible angle. Waited around Nightgate Inn, he isn't there. I've tried with and without the cutting room floor mod.
Sorry for the super late response, hopefully you managed to fix it. If not, it sounds like you're missing Cam Cut-scene. The way it works is once you trigger the first cutscene, you can then approach the home to trigger Ralvir's appearance. Sorry again for the late response, must have missed it xD
question: ralvir wont unlock the door in the first dungeon. he just seems to do the animation, then stops and just stands infront of the door? am i supposed to do something or is this a bug? if it's a bug, how do i fix it lol
I really liked the mod I did not find the quest and through the menu of things took the key, but how to start the quest when I almost approached the house the screen turned black and after 3 seconds it took and there is no hunter what to do?When the screen went black was the quest to begin? I enjoyed it.
Was there any cutscene? If not then you may not have Cam Cutscene installed. And glad you liked it! Though do note: If you don't do the quest there will be certain features that aren't activated unless the quest is completed.
I don't usually play house mods... but this was quite interesting to the point that it made me want more (a more extensive quest). Still, i liked it and endorse it. I did encounter a few minor issues :
Spoiler:
Show
1) The note for the easter egg was floating in mid air, in the beggining of the stairs. 2) When i discover the mine, Ralvir just droped in front of me. 3) My boss fight music didn't stop playing after killing the creature, it kept looping over and over again. I have installed "Dark Mode - Intense Combat Music - Sound" https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/89936 4) When i returned to the house (fast travel) "Ramsle" was under the ground, i could see only his horns. I had to fast travel somwhere else, wait a few hours and then approuch walking.
Question: 1) What does the "Vulture Pendant" actually does ? 2) Does "Toralan" stays tied up in the mine or did i missed something - messed up something by not freeing him when i talked to him ?
* Ramsle is quite a little brave fighter. He can even take down a mammouth !!!
1) It should be inside the bird nest with havok disabled, could be Skyrim being Skyrim, unless maybe some projectile hit it and it fell. 2) Ralvir gets there before you do and is chilling on the ledge above you, before jumping down. 3) The music is started early so it's heard in the cutscene, leaving the Mine should stop it. 4) Was this only once? Possibly Skyrim being Skyrim again xD
1.a) It's just a unique looking pendant, I did just realize it's lack an enchantment recipe, so rn it's more of a trophy if anything. 2.a) Yup, you can either leave him there, or if you release him he becomes hostile.
Glad you enjoyed though! Despite being a small home, I wanted the quest to add some depth to the mod.
So a user of one of my mods had an issue with it reacting poorly with this mod. Downloaded to see if I could replicate the issue. Jury is still out on that.
However, in the meantime I think I managed to break the quest.

When I reached an elderly redguard who was tied up, I let them go. Instead of attacking (tho they were hostile) they ran off down the hallway and opened a door but were stuck by some sort of collision. I killed him anyway due to him being hostile, but because the doors were open my flames reached out and hit the two NPCs on the other side. I killed them through the door way. Then found an activator which triggered a cut scene which could not happen because those two were dead.
You may want to figure out a way to prevent that door from being opened so that such a thing does not happen again. Or just warn players not to fire anything through the door should it accidentally be opened.
Oh, and is Whirlwind sprint required to get past the one drop? My test character was a fresh level one and ended up needing to toggle collision in order to walk back over the opening. I couldn't find anything that would close the door and allow one to walk over it.
I was referring to the way back out after getting the item. Stairs at the end go back up to the previous level and the door is still open. Could not make it back out to continue without toggling collision. Thus my query about Whirlwind Sprint being necessary as that is the only in-game method to cross gaps like that.
Hmm, you should be able to make the jump, you just need to get a running leap at the very edge. As far as the cutscene, there is a collision box there, but I think it was added before Torolan was added, or could be released, that may be why it slipped past me.
Also what was the issue the user was having? Maybe I'll know what's causing it, or be able to point you in the right direction.
I was that user. I had the walk toggle mod active when the last cutscene of the quest in question was triggered. As soon as I regained control and killed the final boss, I realized I was stuck in walk mode. No matter how many times I deactivated and reactivated walk mode, I was still unable to run or sprint.
Odd, the only thing that I could think the scene could do that possibly could effect it is when it disable controls and it enables ai for the player, but this is done in things like the opening scene as well.
That was one of my initial thoughts but the toggle worked fine for every other cut scene and the scripts indicated that that last one wasn't the only scene to switch the player to AI control. And when I got to that last scene, I too had issues. The recommendation I have for my users, if they use this mod, is that once they encounter the tied up redguard they should ensure that their toggle is in run mode. It is a workaround going forward.
RE: the floor opening I tried so many attempts at running and jumping across. Ultimately, gave up and used TCL in the console to get across. I've never been good at "parkour" in Skyrim.
I saw someone else posted- it having an issue getting the quest to start. I approach the house, my screen goes black (I can still hear and see my compass), and then it clears and goes back to normal, but the home owner never appears from his hunt, nor can I find him anywhere. How to fix this? I used NMM to load the mod, so I’m not sure if that’s the problem.
Hey, was so happy to see this mod on the frontpage. I visited a stream you did once and it seemed like a really cool project, so it makes me very happy to see it completed! :)
Thanks! I remember you from some of the streams too, YR was in really early Developement then, feels like it was just yesterday I was struggling to make some spiral stairs xD

Enter into the console(~)
removemusic muscombat
The combat music ended seconds after closing the console and my music returned to normal.
