Hello, I wanted to say that the sword is really beautiful and unique !
I also liked the fact that I have to fight a powerful spriggan to earn it, it added something I cannot explain but makes me like this sword more. ^^

Just...Maybe I'm too much a casual, but I don't understand how to have the "improved version" of the sword in the version 2... I spent more than half an hour to find the solution by reading the description of the mod again and the notes found at the camp, but I just don't know what to do with the ingredients needed... (I hope I don't make big spoilers, I'm sorry if that's the case ^^')
I'm feel a little bad to bother you with my question... but is it possible to have a more precise hint please ?

Have a nice day ! (Sorry for my bad English ^^')

Hi! Sorry for the late reply.

Don't feel bad about asking! The improved version can simply be found at any forge :) If you go to the crafting menu, it should appear there. There are 2 different crafting recipes, but they both make the same weapon.

One recipe uses the old version of Nature's Edge with the 'Essence of Wurzrufen' to make the improved version

The other recipe is the same as the original recipe, except it requires the 'Essence of Wurzrufen' INSTEAD of the Spriggan Sap.

      **Please Note**
You do need the Ebony Smithing perk for these recipes to show up. Hope this helps! :) And thank you for the kind words!

There is a quest in Falskaar, which makes you delve into a Spriggan lair. Made me think of this sword.

I don't convert my mods to SE currently. So unfortunately, I won't be converting this mod either. That being said, anyone else is free to do so. I appreciate your interest though! :)

Hey, I'm glad you like the sword! Unfortunately, I won't make a two handed version of this weapon. It doesn't fit with my design choices for the weapon. Sorry about that, but I appreciate your interest. :)

Hi!, thank you for the mod. The sword looks simple & beautiful at the same time. Finding the sword was more or less easy but .. I have a few commentaries than I hope are not spoilers. Finding the notebook was a real pain. Can I share a screnshoot with the location? The spell is nice and all but the cost of casting for me is 2600! I'm not sure if that is the idea. Am I missing something related to the sword enchantment?

Hey! Sorry for the late reply, been busy with the holidays. I am glad you like it. The notebook doesn't supply much content, so I didn't think people cared a lot about it. I didn't think it's location was needed. But you can totally share its location, of course! As for the spell, that is a crazy high cost. I took another look and I am shocked no one else has mentioned this yet. I made a mistake on the base cost and the calculations make it insanely expensive. I will have an updated version of the .esp uploaded today! Thanks for pointing this out!

As a Bosmer, my Dovahkiin was quite delighted to find this superb looking blade, though had to mourn the sacrifice of its guardian to obtain the essence to unlock its potential. Very nice looking sword indeed. At level 61, it was fairly easy to get it, as all I had to do was to snipe the spriggans while Inigo got their attention. Though I had to look around a bit before finding where it was very obviously standing. The summon spell is cool, and the conjuration seems pretty sturdy. At it is, the main drawback of the weapon would be the lack of tempering, which considering my combined overall skills and levels, pretty much made it useless compared to my other weapons. My tempered woodcutter axe could pretty much do 20 times the damage, so it just wouldn't compare to my dragonbone weapons. Well, since I really like it, I did adjust the upgraded version's damage to make it on par with my arsenal in my game, so it's all well, but not everyone might do that. Thanks for the cool sword! :)

    Hello Colygon,
I thought this looked interesting for a weapon, but have started to play an orc warrior, ( not that great at that), went looking for sword anyway, after reading the spoiler, died so many time fighting the blasted spriggans , ( weaky orc warr ) and wus whatsits name, if I didnt have lydia with me i'da never kill them, but having trouble finding the sword, its not near table in the middle of pond checked on the dead mage just in case, wus didnt have it on him , not in the water anywhere, went tcl just in case it make have sunk into graphic, ..
I still couldnt find it came back read a couple more post, went for another look in the water and table everywhere, just came out and uninstalled, but still endorsed because it does actually look good, but just wouldn't look good on an orc ... Thanks tho

      Hey there,
The weapon is meant for late game, so if you're dying then you probably just aren't high enough level. The reason for this is because the sword is on a tier in between daedric and ebony, so I don't think it'd work for low level chars to have it. That being said, it's odd that you were unable to find it. It shouldn't havok settle or anything, so I'm actually surprised it wasn't there. I probably made a small mistake. I'll check it out right away! I'll also scale down the enemy spriggan's difficulty a tad. I appreciate your feedback and endorsement :)

The reason I dont simply craft it or add it through  the console is because it makes me physically sick doing so. I have to find the things i want. No matter how much of a pain they are to find. But I ended up crafting this sword aftering spending all the time to ind it. If you hadn't added the ability to craft it, I wouldn't have downloaded the mod. I am not being mean, I am simply trying to convey the fact that your instrucions where vauge and misleading.

I don't completely disagree with you but a) there was no reason for you to make three separate posts to convey your complaint, and b) physical illness is sort of an extreme reaction to being able to craft something.

You make good points. I normally don't make mods for casual players. I focus on making items for screen archers and storytellers who just use the console to get the items they want. I originally did not tell people where it is because the sword was pretty basic; there was not anything to it. With version 2 though, it makes a lot more sense to guide players along. I agree.
If you feel the need to say "I am not being mean", then you probably know how your 3 messages are coming across. Honestly, all you needed to say was your first message... >.> Fortunately, I really don't give a shit. But I do agree with what you said. You can find the sword in Evergreen Grove, under the water, right before the pedestal. Be careful though! Wurzrufen is guarding it and is a high level Spriggan. Make sure you're prepared. Thanks for the feedback!

My point, every mod author gives a description of where to find the sword but is hidden under a massive spoiler alert sign. I don't think I have ever seen a mod author just outright refuse to tell you where the sword is. Ad those that do never become popular mod authors. I cant create a mod at all. but I know that you need to have a bit more information reguarding what your mod does in the long run. Otherwise people will not download it.

Im sorry , but as the mod author, you KNOW where the sword is hidden. And you KNOW what your game looks like. We However are very confused. As you have a modded skyrim flora texture, this rendering our ability to find the sword. The sword is beatiful,, But what good is it if the VAST majority cannot even find the sword. No one has time for searching every corner of skyrim for a simple sword. That said, you need to give a better hint that those screenshots. And yes. I did search the entirty of skyrim for the blade and no i still did not find it. THats how bad it is. It took me seven hours to search the entirety of skyrim. And that was after I used the console to unlck every map marker. I even installed atlas map makers so that it would get even the unmarked locations.

It would be cool if the one you could find out in the world had a unique ability (if it doesn't already), maybe summoned two level scaled spriggans to fight by your side when drawn and in combat or something, and then have the spriggans go away once the sword is sheathed.

Over all this thing looks really cool though.

I'm glad you like it. Summoning spriggans when the weapon is drawn does seem a bit overpowered and tough to manage on a technical level. For instance, drawing the weapon in a town. I'm not sure if it would cause the people/spriggans to fight. I'm sure there'd be a way around it, but my knowledge of the CK is pretty limited. That being said, some sort of "nature based" effect would make a lot of sense. I'll see what I can do!

I'm not 100% on how the scripting works, but I do know that you can do simple things like set "when in combat" and "when weapon is drawn" as conditions for effects (for example the Spellbreaker has a "while blocking" condition attached to it), I'm not really sure on how the summoning mechanic works or how to get things to scale with the player though. Either way I know that there are a number of talented mod authors on here who know a lot more than me and would probably be willing to offer some help in that field. At any rate the spriggans would be under the player's control, so unless the player started attacking civilians in town or they suddenly became hostile towards the player the spriggans wouldn't attack the townsfolk.

You want a unique weapon to be powerful both at lower and higher levels while at the same time not being an admin weapon, which is why I suggested having the spriggans scale with the player. Once the player gets high enough in level two spriggans won't count for much against some of the stronger enemies in the game. The other thing you could do is make the weapon harder to acquire, you could put it at the end of a dungeon or a really strong boss or something, the Gaulder Amulet is like that, though in my opinion that's a good example of something that felt a bit weak for the trouble to get it.

I really appreciate the feedback. I've taken some of your suggestions and added my own improvements to the mod. I wasn't able to make an "on hit" or "while blocking" effect, (I decided that such an effect could get annoying after a while) but I was able to do something just as good. It is also slightly more difficult to acquire, more powerful, and has a "quest" to guide the player along. (it's not an actual quest, but there is a journal with details you can find in game, as well as added descriptions to the sword itself). Hope you like it!
