    Fixed this five days ago and forgot to make a post about it. For some reason Insanity's Dragonbane was still in my bashed patch despite me rebuilding it after deleting the mod. I just moved this mod after the bashed patch and it works fine.

    Hi, installed the mod but it doesn't seem to do anything to change dragonbane.

    I had installed Insanity's Dragonbane previously, then disabled the mod to install yours, but dragonbane remains the Insanity's version rather than this one. Insanity's Dragonbane used an esp too, so I'm assuming it's done the same way your mod is.

    Any idea how I could fix this?

      try any of these:;
      1. uninstall insanity's dragonbane completely, no meshes/textures left behind
      2. put this mod below insanity's in the load order
      3. make sure you got this mod enabled

      None of these worked, unfortunately. Insanity's Dragonbane is removed, and your mod is installed and ticked. I'm not sure what else to do.

    If it is a replacer (meshes/textures), why we need an esp?

      Just took a loot at the ESP in xedit, this mod seems to operate by using an ESP edit to change the weapon model/texture paths to a new path, /weapons/swordoftheancienttounges rather than changing the texture at the default path. I think this was done because dragonbane uses the same textures as the default Blades sword, correct me if I'm wrong, and the author did not want to change those.

      I see.

      Well, I'm already merging the ...half of Nexus. If I'll reach the "Weapons/Armor mods MERGE", I will merge this.

    It looks really nice, certainly better than the vanilla design. I'll defiantly give it a shot. My only criticism is that there are no screen shots of it in game. It would be nice to see what it looks like in game before you make a decision on whether or not to download.

      I think u can download that and just overwrite the meshes/textures in this mod. It should work. I haven't changed the file path or anything.
