Just want to let everyone know, this mod works great with Same Walk And Run Speeds,
A Mod made to ensure that NPCs walk at the same speed of the player, so you do not have to run to catch up with a particular character-assumably in the middle of a quest event-example, whether a tour of Winterhold, or elsewhere in Skyrim.
Script Dragon is still broken with the latest update, and this mod appears to be the only walk speed alternative.
To get this mod to work, the "DynamicWalkSpeed1.psc" source script needs to be compiled. Open the creation kit, and find the "Papyrus Script Manager" off the "Gameplay" menu. You can right-click on the script name to compile it. That's it, you're done. There's no need to load the *.esp file in the editor. Quit the creation kit and try it out in game.
Going to drop support of this. Party because doing what I wanted to do with this mod and have it be bug-free is almost impossible without a script extender (something I cannot use as I don't have C++ coding skills), and party because the Momentum mod does exactly what I wanted this mod to do, and I never even knew it existed.
So go check out that mod guys It's basically exactly what I wanted to do here except with Script Dragon it generally works bug-free. Make sure you adjust the ini settings so the max walk speed is around 200 or so if you want double walk speeds. You can even adjust how fast you walk on the fly by holding down the arrow keys to adjust speed.

Great little Mod to keep the immersion,

I disabled ALL mods and started the game without SKSE, and it still doesn't work :-/
I'd be very interested in a version that increases walk/movement speed iff weapons are sheathed.
