    Hello,

I seem to be having a minor issue either with this mod or with Jobs Of Skyrim. If I try to cook food at an inn as normal, every time I get an order that calls for salt piles I receive the salt piles from the inkeeper but am unable to use them while cooking. If I click on the requested recipe I get an ingame message saying I do not have the required ingredients.

I have tried reinstalling and uninstalling this mod to correct the above issue with no success. I have also tried disabling and re-enabling salt requirement in recipes in the MCM Menu. Again, no success.

Is there any way to restore the need for salt in recipes without uninstalling and reinstalling everything I have as far as mods are concerned?

Any assistance you all can provide would be greatly appreciated!

    Respectfully,

    GamerGuy.

Extremely useful. Sure, the meat won't taste as good, but then salt isn't that necessary or easy to obtain.

Salt is necessary to keep the meat edible. Even guys who kill dragons will die from spoiled meat. BUT this isn't RL and I don't want to be a salt hunter so THANK you very much.

Edible for weeks, not couple hours that would take for me to receive damage from adventuring

Meat does NOT need salt. Only to preserve it. Meat tastes great without salt. It's the PLANT spices that give it better taste. I'm not preserving meat for the winter here. I need to cook meat and eat it to restore my damages. I don't want to die early from heart disease and high sodium diet..

yeah like, i know it's a fantasy world, not middle ages, but salt used to be very expensive, not so long ago. and in skyrim you need it to cook anything!
