My question is, have you fixed the issue of being detected when someone dies from being poisoned? For example, I had a wonderful mod long time ago that allowed you to reverse pickpocket poisoned food (poisoned apple anyone?) into an npc's inventory, then the npc would "eat" the food and die from it. But even if I was invisible I'd still be detected and everyone would home in on me as soon as the person died. Unfortunately skyrim limitations don't allow leaving the cell after "poisoning" someone, as the npc won't be poisoned anymore once you leave the cell.
I've been wondering about this, "glitch". In Oblivion, you could drop a poisoned apple on an npc, go away and forget about it. Few hours later you'd be notified that "So and so has died". It was such a clean and awesome kill. I was beyond disappointed that you couldn't do that in Skyrim...
So that's what happened. If it's possible to fix this, you'll be a real life dragonborne!
A mod for placing objects in player homes, like Lanterns and Candles. The objects from this mod can be placed like a boss in any place and stay there forever. So if any item could be placed like these candles, would be perfect... There is Jaxonz Positioner, but at least for me, it never worked properly.
Description from the Lanters and Candles uploader:
1. Drop from your inventory 2. Once the item is where you want it, activate it to lock in place. <<<< This revolution i'm talking about !! 3. Activate to turn the flame on/off 4. "Grab" it to put it back in your inventory
Well, that's myrequests. =D And about your mod, it's balanced, it's good enough. o/
Thanks for your suggestions! These are very good ideas, as soon as I have the time to look into it I will give it a try. It seems like features I would like to see in the game as well.
The idea about potions sounds good, what bothers me is how to balance the potion-drinking rate and the quantity of potions to add to NPCs in order for players to have some left to loot. On the other hand, it would also compel players to make their own
This morning I was actually trying to position objects around my thieves guild desk and only some of them (like books) stayed in place, which frustrated me. That's some bloody good timing you got there! Haha I will try out these alternative mods you've given me and see if it satisfies me. If it does then I would be glad to try and look into the features that didn't work for you, and maybe fix it. I'll keep in touch about that.

Edit: Hey man, I've tried Jaxonz Positioner and I have to say, this is one of the most well-crafted tool mods I've ever seen. I don't think I could do better. What exactly is not working for you? Maybe you don't have a numpad on your keyboard? That's the main tool to use this mod
I've been trying out ASIS as well, and I officially adopted the mod haha In addition with Combat Enhanced it makes for a much more challenging experience, which I love You don't wanna use it to make enemies drink potions? You can actually configure the amount, potency and chances to obtain the potions for enemies in the mod. You sure you don't wanna just use this instead?
Thanks for your input! It's been great information for me
From what I see it affects some common features. I'd say you can try, as long as you load my mod after CACO in the load order so that the changes take effect. There might also be incompatibilities because both mods add ingredients. Backup your skyrim & saves before trying anything :)
I will track this for the next playthrough. Oh and fyi Someone fixed the merchant bug with an skse plugin recently. You can find it here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/85285?tab=posts

Don't hesitate to leave a note if it didn't work! :D
