----Val Crafting Meltdown Alpha v1.5----

--Installing --

Copy ValCraftingMeltdownAlpha.esp to your data folder & click on the check box under "Data Files" on your Skyrim Launcher.

(IF YOUR "DATA FILES" BUTTON IS GRAYED OUT READ BELOW)


Under the "Data Files" button on the launcher for Skyrim, you need to click the "Data Files" button and check the Box next to ValsCraftingMeltdown.

If you can't click on the "Data Files" button because it is grayed out, follow the steps below.

If you go to your Data folder, press the up folder button. You should now be in the area that has the Skyrim launcher, and the Skyrim.exe. Look for a folder named Skyrim then go into it. Click on Skyrimprefs. Once inside the system prefs, go to the bottom of the file and add this line

[Launcher]
bEnableFileSelection=1

Now, save the file. After adding that line, go to your document's folder, then go to your "My Games" folder, then go to the "Skyrim" folder. Once there go into the SkyrimPref's file, and press CTRL-F. Once the text field pops up, Type in "Launch".

Copy the following

[Launcher]
bShowAllResolutions=0
uLastAspectRatio=4
bEnableFileSelection=1

Then

Highlight(In the Skyrim Prefs file)

[Launcher]
bShowAllResolutions=0
uLastAspectRatio=4

and press CTRL-V while "[Launcher]
bShowAllResolutions=0
uLastAspectRatio=4 " is high lighted.

After doing this you should now be able to click on the "Data Files" button on your launcher and check the box next to ValsMeltdownAlpha.

Delete ValCraftingMeltdownAlpha.esp



----NOTES----

Fixed Issues with other mods.

Added a crap top of armor types to the breakdown list.

I'm aware the leather straps are missing from the meltdowns, I currently do not know how to create more then 1 of a item.

Jewelry can be melted down to silver or gold.


Arrow's made from paper and linen have been removed. Any arrows currently existing made from those materials will remain in your inventory.

Recipie for "Roll's of Paper" has been added. One burned or ruined book will make 2 rolls of paper.

Arrow's materal costs have been changed.

Arrows are now made in stacks of 24.

Arrow's need 24 hawk feathers to make.

Hawk Feathers can be obtained by ripping them off unwatned arrows.

12 Arrow's will get you 6 feathers (1/2 feather return rate. 4 stacks of 12(48) will make you 24 feathers)

More firewood/metals is required for making arrows.

Some Bow's can be melted down into Ingots, others smashed into Firewood.

Kettles, Lanterns, and Cast Iron Pots can be melted into Iron.

Fur, Hide, Leather, and Light Imperial armor can be cut into leather strips.

Imperial Armor, Flagons, and Goblets can be melted into steel.

Skull's, Troll Skulls, Mammatoh Tusks, Tolvark Tusks can be made into bone meal.

Deadric and Dragon Armor will not be added...You can't melt hearts(In a forge) and you can't melt bone.

Gold Coint Mold required for making coins from gold ignots.
