Will try this one out and update with how it looks, everytihng Mihail has been pretty solid so far, a few sound descriptors are TOO loud and LOOP here and there for some creatures, otherwise if I had a game company you'd be sent an offer. :P
You should work on the horse skeleton you used. The position of the character is too far behind. Actually you should sit behind the bird's neck and not on it's rump. Apart from that I was looking forward a rideable Mihail bird mount :-D.
I had the same problem to be honest but I am not that experienced with suchlike mount stuff. I was hoping you could do that so much :-D . But thank you anyway for sharing ^^

For the Fellrunner, I did not succeed and was obliged to keep the base of the horse of origin
For the Terror Bird, I managed to advance it a bit ...
If someone succeeds in changing these positions, I will be happy to add it to my mod
