ey, i know exsactly what you mean, but i would understand eating a wolf, in a suvival, situation, ie- it attacks you, your hungry, youd be reluctant to but you would. or it attacks you cattle ie roriksted, you skin and eat it, i can understand that. but killing any domesticated dog, and eating it in my mind, is as bad as murder.- no i wasent saying rename your post, i was saying rename the item in the game =) - but ey unless the situation was dier i wouldent eat a wolf. no but the point being ina situaton like syrim, youd take what u can get,and seing as wolf attacks would be common, it would be a waist to not eat them. though again in any "civalised" enviroment you woudlent need to,
Ok, first off, this is a game, not real life. You're ok with killing a lot of the people you're supposed to kill in this-like bandits-even tho technically you're being a vigilante and not giving them any kind of due process? Silly vidja gayme logic!
The truth is, if you were attacked in the wild by wolves, you'd attack back. Why would you waste the meat? There's nothing in the game that says the vendors are hunting meat-wolves in skyrim obviously don't behave like wolves in our world. It's a different world. Who knows? There are obviously evil creatures and beings in that universe, maybe the wolves are all evil? In which case, you're doing people a favor by killing them. Why let the meat go to waste?
Look, I get it. I'd feel the same way if I had to kill a kangaroo in a game-I love kangaroos-and I might even make a mod to mod it out, if I could..that doesn't mean I try and rationalize it or start up some kind of ethical argument over it. ITS A GAME. Video game people eating dog =/= people who eat dogs irl, sheesh.
That, and the modder themselves said its not about not eating dogs.
There is nothing not understandable. There is absolutely a point in eating dog meat because dogs are simply delicious. They are known delicacy in certain countries and that's not because there is not much to eat. The game developers knew about it and that's why they put it in the game. Y U TAKE AWAY THEIR GOODIES
