Thank you so much for this mod, I'm a player that can actually aim by myself, played enough arena shooters to know how to aim straight, and Skyrim's majestically terrible aiming and mouse input system annoys the crap out of me, and that the majority still think it acceptable to have this repulsive "feature" in their games is beyond me. Glad to see I'm not the only one that despises Auto-Aiming.

Anyhow, long live skillful aiming, death to Auto-Aiming! xD

Now to get rid of the horrid mouse smoothing in this game...

EDIT: Yes this mod fixes the auto-aiming for spells too. Thank you so much for this mod!

Does this mod affect spells such as firebolt, magelight, or soultrap (to name examples of different schools of magic)?

Hmm, I am not 100% sure, but I think it should affect spells as well.

No it doesn't. The novice destruction spell, Flames, has serious issues with auto-aim. I'm sure others do as well. Auto-aim is a real pain. Also, the new Scoped Bows version comes with its own built-in tweaks/.esp to disable auto-aim for bows.

Well, for me it was definitely noticeable, but I play with the bow 24/7

@ trias96 FYI since 2011-Nov-11 auto aim is present in Skyrim and there are several mods like this that have already addressed this minor game irritation/dumb-down game mechanic.

It's crucial for hardcore bowmen, ESPECIALLY if you have melee followers. Auto aim will target your follower almost as often as whomever they are fighting. If you wish to hit your opponent instead of your follower, you REALLY need to turn off auto aim. I've "killed" more than one follower before finally turning off auto aim. By accident, of course!
