Hello! Sorry for the late reply, I'm not active on here usually. That is incredibly strange. Are you sure your install is totally blank? Have you tried moving this mod to the bottom of your load order? The mod is very simple, as long as you have no mods that change the three healing spells in vanilla then you should be good to go.
Hmm yeah I'm not sure about food! Changing their effects might conflict with big mods like CCAO or Needs mods, though I don't know how either of those work so I can't be sure.
Food is also one of those things where I feel like you kind of need to go out of your way to abuse it tbh (ah yes let me just nibble on my 40 bread I saved for this exact occasion), unlike potions and restoration magic where they are extremely powerful in vanilla, so maybe we can resist temptation haha. in game it says 0 seconds to heal over time which is instant...

now for food maybe? Since food healing can still be spammed and stacked.
