   Does exchanging the armor type modify its stats? For example, if you changed the Ancient Falmer armor into heavy armor would its weight and armor value increase?

      this mod does not modify any modded in armors
      
      as for the quest, for example to get the ebony mail you need to complete boethas calling to be able to change the armor from heavy to light
