Thank you all for your feedback.. Unfortunately, my gaming computer crashed a few months ago and I haven't been able to make any fixes in (or much less run) the CK or even the game itself.. I'm sorry to say it, but I will not be making any further updates or fixes for the foreseeable future; however, I give full permission for anyone to use this mod for anything they care to use it for..
I am however very curious about how this mod has affected sneaking.. From what I remember, I did absolutely nothing to the actual Vampire Sight ability and only fooled around with the brightness and saturation under the "FX" (meaning the screen appearance).. Unless vanilla vampire sight also causes the same universal problem (it also boosts brightness) then I don't see how this mod could have had any effect on that aspect of the game...
With that said, I am by no means a "modder" yet it only took me a couple of hours to figure out the CK and make this mod. If you really are upset about this mod not being fixed, I bet you would have absolutely no problem figuring this out (especially if you are somewhat familiar with computers). Download the Creation Kit from Steam and try it out!
Best of luck to you all and my sincerest apologies,
Is here a way to make so that it's not just a filter/brightness thing, because running into areas with 0 light I still must use a torch.
I mean I can think of a way - activating vamp/night eye either illuminates the entire world, or illuminates around you as if you have a torch - but this must be coded for the player only, not the NPCs, since it will make you easy to detect as if you're holding a torch.
This doesn't work with my ENB setup for some reason; I'm using RealVision ENB and Better Vampires. I'm guessing BV conflicts, which sucks. I'll edit this if I find a workaround, because I'm sure I'm not the only one with this issue; both RealVision and BV are very popular, after all.
EDIT: Tried hiding all related scripts in BV with Mod Organizer. Didn't work. Also tried: Renaming the ESP to have no spaces, placing the mod dead last in my load order, running LOOT. None of that worked.
If anyone has any idea how to help without having me uninstall Better Vampires, that would be great. Otherwise, I'm marking this mod as "Won't Endorse."
How to make Better Vampires and Better Vampire Sight and Night Eye (this mod) compatible : Why ? Because this mod works with ENB (Tested with RealVision ENB) and not the Vampire's Sight replacer from Better Vampires. For this you will need TES5edit (if you use Mod Organizer launch TES5edit through it, of course). Once in TES5edit Just load Skyrim.esm and the Better Vampires plugin (plus any additional mods if you want to make some more advanced edits). The issue here is that the new BV night vision uses a different effect than the Night Eye magic effect which this mod changes (load this mod in TES5edit as well to see that for yourself), so you want to delete the new BV night/vampiric vision, to do so simply go under spells and lesser powers delete the corresponding BV entry so that the game uses the vanilla Vampire's Sight instead, and voilĂ you're done, save and exit.
TL; DR : Load Better Vampires in TES5edit, delete its special night vision located in spells, save and exit.
Excellent work, endorsed. On a side note,is there a way to make this independent from the actual vampire's sight?the mod I'm using,Vampiric Thirst, has issued tied to this as it modifies it.
With ENB, this mod works great outside, but indoors it doesn't work at all(if i turn night vision on nothing happens), unless i disable ENB effects, is there a way to get it working indoors without losing ENB?
Actually, so far this is the *only* night-eye mod I've tested of quite a few that actually works with ENB! Most notably in low-light areas, like forests at night. I recommend the no-blur version if you are to try it out.
If it doesn't do that much to you should alter the enbseries.ini command UseOriginalPostProcessing to 1, that should work with *any* nightvision mod I believe.
Loved the mod until a couple of days ago, it glitched and now all is pink tinged and cannot toggle it off. Uninstalling mod didn't change it back. Any suggestions?
Yeah, find the mod that's actually responsible for this. Any changes made by this mod disappear once you deactivate it. There aren't any scripts attach to it.

I hope you understand my idea.
