when talking to the miner, i am bothered by how I, a murderer, is talking. i'm too polite. i would prefer a more intimadating affect. i amost always play the dark brotherhood questline first. i want to be treated as the leader of assassins. it just sees like the theme doesnt match with some of the dialogue.
im crossing my fingers for an enchanted torturer's hood with double intimidation speech perk enchantment :)
whe n talking to the miner, the dialogue text ends to quickly. it disappears after completing that portion of the quest.
quest completion seems lagged.
a bit suprised the ex jarl was in armor but had no weapon. killed her with a woodcutters axd and barely lost any health. i am low level (20 with high enchanting and smithing). a
jarl should be educated in combat etc.
her house was a bit barren. she was a jarl afterall. i would think she would live in more luxary. i dont need more money or stuff tho. but i would expect her to have security. at least a steward or housecarl. a jarl is a big contract even if retired.
i think i saw a typo in the dialoge the guy in jail says when saying he will mark the map location.
some of the dialogue disapeard to quickly when talking to navine.
very powerful weapon she gives you. twice as much dmg than my previous weapon, and even that came from a mod and was powerful early in the game. i wouldnt be running for my life and barely scratching people if i use it, if.
i dont know. the bow was usefull because i am like robinhood, and i needed a new one. but personally, some of the stuff at here place is expensive junk, like the glass mace
and ebony greatsword. arrows would be better for me personally. i think it would go well with the bow. or a unique enchantment is what im looking for. i can just make an awesome
sword and put two enchantments on it, but i cant use the creation kit to make new enchantents :(
i liked the mod. i think it has a lot of potential. it feels barren tho.id like to see the updates :)
the ex jarl attacked me when i entered his house. i hadnt stared the quest yet. its a guy this time. and its saying i should report back to the guy in jail. i havent done the parts before this.
Thank you for taking the time to download and play my mod. I really appreciate it. I will take your ideas into consideration. I have been working on an update for this mod for awhile now and it should be completed soon. Thank you for your feedback :)
oh cool. i cant wait for the update. i was worried you were inactive :( i wish i could kill the torturer and help navine get revenge. btw, ive seem so many of navine's wardrobes and figgy. they are everywhere it seems
Hey Mack, just started the quest and ran into a problem I created. I have installed "Expanded Towns and Cities" mod. When the quest asks me to visit Dawnstar Barracks, I cannot complete the quest as ETaC seems to conflict by removing the Barracks from the worldspace. All I see is a floating questmarker to a non existent building. I'd recommend updating this conflict in your description for now!!
EDIT: So I figured it out, ETaC made the Dawnstar Barrack into a fort looking building on the north side of the map, near Silius' Museum. You enter the barrack, look for the Jail basement entrance and will find the person the quest wants you to find.
I haven't had a chance to play your mod, but wanted to say I could download and there is an .esp--It installed just fine on MO. I wish more mods were like yours, providing a quest line that doesn't take over Skyrim. Sadly, I have no knowledge of CK. I will leave a note when I get to run through your mystery!
I guess I chose the 'Forgiving' Ending? I let her go in the end.
Couple of things:
Her wardrobe was also in Alvor's house in Riverwood with a key and her sword. No idea why. Might want to check you didn't edit cells you didn't mean to or didn't create new forms when you should have. I went to visit Figgy and some of the pillars of stone didn't reach the ceiling. Just a little aesthetic touch. It felt a bit like a fetch quest, just going from one place to another to say some sentences to someone. Couple of typos in the subtitles and journal entries. Easy to fix (it's 'used' not 'use' for example).
Just pitching in here to say I tried to play this mod with a STEP build (so minimal mods) and the quest didn't trigger after talking to the executioner either.
So I went in-game in a complete vanilla build, no mods not even LAL. ENBoost was on but not an ENB and I used the skse_loader as always to start the game and Favren was there but I couldn't even talk to him. Activating him just made him repeat 'speak quickly' each time.
You only included the plugin and the bsl file. You need the dungeontest5.bsa, not bsl, and it should be in the same folder as the plugin. I don't know what all was supposed to be included, but you at least need some scripts for a quest mod.
I don't know why your mod would have disappeared, but you can always download it off the nexus and edit it from there.
1. Untick my mod and go into Skyrim. 2. Load a save of Skyrim, doesn't matter which one. 3. Make another save. 4. Exit Skyrim and put my mod back in. 5. Load the clean save and try again.
Please tell me if that doesn't work. I'm sorry that it happened.
Yes, but by the conversation I knew to speak to the maid, but she has no dialog and there is no quest or markers. I also found the cabin with the Jarls cabin holifs shack so I went there. But feels like something is missing, no quest.

i found navine's bane and the key in riverside shack. i found another one of navine's wardrobes in traitor's post with the sword and key in it.

edit: it works now!
Cannot get past the first interaction with the torturer - no maid in The Inn. I just saw v1.3 so I will give that a try.

I hope you get it working, it sounds interesting.

People like to have a good idea on what they are downloading.
We don't really know what it's about...
but if/When I do get around to it I will be sure to give you some feedback!
