Thanks much for this Brytag, COT appears to be working like the gem it is in Bruma. Endorsed of course and hope to see more from ya with other weather mods.
Hello, I downloaded this patch on Wednesday, I haven't made it to Bruma yet as I started a new character having been away from the game for so long just about all my mods needed updating. However when I added this patch into my list it seems to be affecting Skyrim weather in that everywhere is now as if I have the CoT - Winter Edition enabled, which I did not, all the terrain is snow covered as is the world map. has anyone else who IS NOT using Winter Edition of CoT but IS using the CoT/Bruma patch experienced this or does anyone know if perhaps something else has effected the terrain, this was the only new item added to my list which is what makes me suspect it. It's no real big issue, just enabled the winter edition in my mod list, but I do like to play without it sometimes so any help here would be appreciated
Perhaps you can elaborate on why you think this needs attention? This patch does not touch Skyrim or Skyrim's weather, nor its terrain. In fact it does not touch any Skyrim reference at all. This patch also does not add snow to any terrain and has nothing in it related to CoT - Winter Edition. I have not experienced any problems or any issues like those being described, and it has always worked perfectly for me. I also cannot help wondering why you would even make that comment before you tried the patch yourself.
I am so glad that you made mod. I should have clarified. I didnt mean the mod needs attention. i meant that the comment needs attention. I didnt experience it. You know that because you can see my download history for the mod. I hope to be impressed by the mod when i do use it.
I would like to help the person from the original comment but I had assumed by now that his problem had already been rectified, and since I'm sure his problem has nothing to do with this patch I don't know how much assistance I can offer. It sounds to me that CoT - Winter Edition is in fact enabled in his Skyrim. I would suggest completely removing Winter Edition from the files. Start a new game and see if the symptoms persist. Otherwise I would try a fresh install, then add your mods one by one until the culprit is found. And obviously don't use any saves where CoT - WE had previously been in use.
Thanks for the reply, sorry i'm sooo late replying myself, to be honest I ended up just deciding to start a new game with Winter Edition enabled anyway, I am certain that the first time I played after adding this patch WE was not enabled, it was a brand new start (due to Hunting in Skyrim major update) I did quit the game to check because I thought maybe I had left it enabled by mistake, that was when I made the original post. You seem pretty sure that your patch would not affect Skyrim and I trust your knowledge of your own work, since no one else seems to have experienced it I can only assume something else went wrong somewhere with my mods. I've not the patience to uninstall an reinstall everything to check for a culprit though and to be fair, I prefer to play with WE enabled anyway. Now to just be BAMF enough to for the border guard to let me through Pale Pass...
