I think you should show a video on how to manual download this to skyrim because people like myself who have never manual downloaded this might like to know how to manual download this.
will this help utter and complete noobs like myself with conkit? not worried about a custom "voiced" at the moment, just want to learn to make even a generic follower >.<
being the noob I am it has to be like your teaching a 4 year old! lol
The cookie cutternessness of the followers people are making nowadys, is only because unfortunately people just aren't skilled, and don't understand the creation kit as much.
The number one reason though, is that other mod authors with good textures are jerks, who think people owe them something, and won't allow others to reuse their assets to make their own cool followers, sometimes even if they list them in credits.
Thus, people make cheapo followers. This will more than likely get worse as time goes on, the less people care about struggling to fix issues, I do wish I was good at making followers.
I'm not good at making any kind of mod... Hopefully your mod helps folk.
I'm sorry I edited my comment, I still agree that the 'cookie cutter' is a prefect way to sum up today's follower mods. I just wanted to add a bit more indepth to my comment, hopefully it sheds some light.
Also, I tired to study videos, they only make my eyes go googly-eyed...
I just saw the edit and i agree, when i first started making mods it was with low quality assets, so i eventually deleted all of my low quality stuff and kept my awesome followers. (now i have 4 followers rather than 9)
They're all cookie cutters in a way (use vanilla voices) but they all add something special to the game and a house, so i'd say they're mostly worth the download lol
If you want a good example, look at Ryoka or Crimson
I dont download other peoples followers usually, unless its custom voiced or just truly unique, and people are lacking that creative "thunder" now a days.
You think it's cool? See, when I was young, I went on a bunch of urm.... Amerous websites, and they required a username to get access to stuff... And so, since I didn't take it seriously, I called myself the first thing that popped into mind, "Lefttounge" And I couldn't spell back then So I thought 'tongue' was tounge....
And at the time, Bellsouth was the most popular, and so I didn't take gmail seriously, and so I named my email after 'what i didn't take seriously', which was unfortunately...Lefttounge And when Bellsouth went away, I had to use 'Lefttounge' on all the other websites, and I was stuck with it, and nexus wanted, you guessed it, my actual email for a username...Hence, now I'm walking around as Lefttounge.
I just realized your username unusually is slightly similar XD You must have went on questionable sights, like me, lool!
