I would add one more requirement, that it only transforms when it has low health, let's say 20%, the transformation increases its health a little and it would be less frequent ... because dragons, giants and strong enemies in general you find it all the time.
If Serana isn't turning, try typing this into console: Set VLSeranaRoyalArmorGlobal to 0 If attacks are going through her, open console, click on her, and type "setghost 0"
Nifty mod and a smart solution. Tho i have a problem with the game crashing when Serana REVERTS to normal form - i have to select her on console, disable her, and manually set her race back before enabling her again to avoid the crash. I use Seranaholic, version compatible with vampire lord form - do you have any idea of what might be the cause?
exactly the same problem here with addition i think , she transforms into VL and just floats ( does no combat ) and crash when reverting back to normal form. Has anyone had same problems anyone and a solution maybe ?
Does anyone know how to make this work with No More Ugly Vampire Lord? Serana's just floating around in her underwear... o_o'
Edit: Never mind, i figured it out! For anyone else that has this problem in the future, extract the bsa with a bsa extractor tool and delete both scripts titled vlseranarefscript from the scripts and source folders. Drag and drop your new scripts folder and the esp into your data folder and that's it!

Thank, NPCs from the mod "Moonlight Tales Version" after the transformation also to crach game. I will try to solve the problem, or choose one of the two.
I'm guessing this mod requires it be installed before meeting Serana, and not after? Nothing's happening for her in my game. I do notice that enemies can't harm her at all. Their weapons go through her without damaging her. Unable to hit her.
ADDED: My Serana was broken before I even installed this mod to try. Starting a new game has her working pretty good with this mod. Endorsed.
Actually, you can tell people when to transform in AFT(i.e. at the start of combat, when you transform, or at 50% or less health). Also, does this conflict with that mod or this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/85814/? ?
