      windhelm vault can be entered, no cdt's etc, only thing to point out is the grated door clips with the display case when it opens. in addition, followers can't use the door to transition to the next room.

      markarth vault shows no problems, no followers through that door either.

      The Solitude Vault is in Castle Dour, so nothing in the Blue Palace has been touched by my mod at all. I'm not sure what's happening in the Windhelm picture, but whenever I load it it looks fine both inside and out. Any chance you could provide more specifics? I'm not sure why your followers aren't entering the vaults, but I'll take a look at the navmesh whilst I'm sorting out the door clipping. Thanks for the feedback

      hey! check edit 3, I think that WAS solitude vault entrance. its the mod expanding the palaces and castles mod I linked in the first post!

      the mod rearranges the interior layouts, being the problem here, so solution would be to relocate the doors......I think that would make it a bit of a chore for you though.

      sorry if I seem to be a bit of a pain, I'm not honestly sure what drove me to this. >__< ;; ..perhaps its because both mods add vaults and safes but in different locations that I was highly attracted to....both mods look like they could go together very well to be honest, and I like stealing stuff, lol. probably my motivator.

      Oh I see... That must be the chair from the chair and table seen in the last image in the description. I'll see what I can do to move the door somewhere that doesn't conflict.

      in short doors for solitude, windhelm and riften need to be moved, whiterun and markarth are both fine since those areas are untouched. o.o

      again, sorry about the confusion or unneeded feedback for a mod you may not use, but I took a liking to vaults like the solitude bank vault and wanted to look into incompatibilities with other mods that also provide similar vaults for people who like to be thieves.

      Could you possibly disable your palaces and castles mod and see if the problems continue? I haven't found any problems apart from the clipping in Windhelm. Thanks for the help!

      The door in Riften is in the right place, it just doesn't seem to be on the wall, which it is with no other mods loaded. Having looked, there aren't really any other places to move the door to in Castle Dour unfortunately. Is there any chance you could provide more specifics/images as to the problem with the Windhelm Vault? Thanks! I'm still learning given that this is my first mod.

      the hall is expanded and the throne is moved near the center, with substantial room behind it.

      as for the vault in solitude, why not put it where the nobles eat on the right?

      Ahh I see. I'm making a patch which moves the doors outside of the castles so hopefully the interiors won't be affected.

      strange....patch didn't work, trying to figure out if I did something wrong. I put the newest 1.1 mod and the patch in front of PCE and no dice .-.

      edit: odd, even a mostly fresh save with the mods near the bottom had no effect, it worked for you right?

      edit: patch had no affect on your mod, I guess I'll make an alt install of skyrim and only have those 2 mods running and then try.

      Let me know if this ever gets sorted. I use PCE and love having extra things to break into and steal when I'm a thief character.

      update: found the door in solitude, no problems there, bugs are still there for the doors in riften and windhelm however.....

      Try using the patch without the mod itself, that will probably work.

      ....yep, everything works as it should, should proobably rename it to mod WITH patch though!

      only things I can point out were in riften quarters where the vault door use to be, theres a tear in the textures on the left, right of the chest. and there was a floating stone of barenziah in front of the shelfs.

      kudos sir, I love it! maybe if your ever around to it doors can be in order, just need to be creative, more....crafty...muaahahahaa....

      I dont see the vault in windhelm. The riften one either. I've seen the whiterun and markarth but I'm not sure what's wrong. Is it because it's the special edition?

    For whatever reason, the guards inside the Riften vault are hostile to one another and always fight. I think it happened in Whiterun, too.

      ultimately for all vault related mods like this what you could do is up the ante for the number of guards in the first heist, then set a number of days/months for a respawn but with say, a QUARTER of its original contents, with more powerful guards with better gear that are harder to kill and have the contents of any vault at any given time be random. make people actually think twice before plundering the vault.

      The mod that inspired it added vaults, or Treasuries if you prefer, to the major cities of Cyrodiil, which were secure places for the storage of wealth collected by the city. Presumably each city gains revenue from its inhabitants, and as seat of a region, would also collect money from the population of the general area. That these vaults don't exist is odd; you'd expect a Jarl to have some kind of wealth at his or her disposal. Adding the vaults opens the potential for you to rob them.
