This mod looks very interesting and I thank you for it. One minor correction, however, in your compatibility list you mention "Legend of the Dragonborn" however the mod is "Legacy of the Dragonborn."

Thank you so much for this.
I've been stuck trying to find a mod that allows the player to get quills for some silly arrows i've been trying to craft.

What mod requires quills to make arrows? Arrows should require feathers, not quills... Although, I'm glad mine helped.

One other recipe you might want to add - I used it in my Argonian Hearthfires - is to smelt empty bottles to glass (6 bottles = 1 glass). The only problem is that there are four types of empty bottles, so that's actually four recipes, and the bottles have to match. Since you can turn off a recipe in your MCM, it wouldn't add any conflict.

I also considered letting straw be harvested, to make all Hearthfires raw material gather-able, but that's out of the scope of this one.

I'd probably go with an intermediate item to solve the multiple bottle issue. Glass bottles to glass shards, and then glass shards to glass. As long as I make the item from scratch, it wouldn't introduce conflicts of any sort. This way, they wouldn't have to match. Thoughts?

Elegant! Make the shards where? And by the way, the term for broken glass as a material is "cullet".

There were actually five bottles, with the spiced wine bottle being named slightly different from the others. But there are also two more in Dawnguard (sort of). Plus an empty skooma bottle, which I went ahead and included. If I end up requiring Dawnguard for some other reason in the future, then I'll be sure to include those two, as well, but they're not actually used by anything (they only exist in the test cell), so it'd be silly to require dawnguard for that. (Don't worry. Only one entry shows in the menu when you don't have the bottles as a reminder that it's possible, so it won't become super cluttered.)

Regarding the location, it'll be, by necessity, the smelter. It'd make more sense if you had to use, like, an anvil, but that would grant experience, which I'd rather not do for that item. Besides that, anvils aren't very common, so it'd usually end up being a forge. A forge does still have the anvil, but you're working the bellows and stuff, too, all just for tapping some glass with a hammer in a bowl.

The glass-making will thus be done entirely are the smelter where it won't grant any experience. The cullet->glass process makes most sense there, anyway, and you won't have to move while from bottles to glass.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any resources for broken glass either as a bowl of glass or as just shards, so I had to make one. Let me know if it has any problems (it's my first ever model-texture asset, but it turned out somewhat decent).

It's all done, but I'd rather not release a new version for one item after only a day. So, I''ll wait a day or two and see if there are any other suggestions before uploading it. I don't expect to get any others yet, but just to be safe.

(Oh, and just to note, my permissions are really open, so if you end up liking the cullet and want to add it to your mod once I've uploaded it, feel free.)

Soul gem fragments recolored? There are several instances in bowls you could probably grab as a preset. E.g. in Valerica's lab.

Unfortunately, the soul gems in there have a strange purple reflection. Having looked at the nif, I didn't see anything that might cause it to be purple except vertex colors, and fixing that would be editing 1,800 vertex colors by hand (I don't know how to do it in Blender, yet). The one from moonsugar actually looks decent, though. It's got the semi-transparency the original bottles had, and it reflects the way it should. It has large pieces plus sections that looks like more fine powder glass, so it's pretty good there, too. I'm planning to upload it tomorrow,, for the record. I want to actually make sure the update section of the script works the way its' supposed to before relying on it. (I can always provide hotfixes that can be installed if the current result turns out not to be liked. Now that I know what I'm doing, it's relatively simple to try out various things.)

Awesome, Xander! I'll be adding a plug to this on Extra Crafty's description as well. Thanks for the mention, by the way.

Quick recipe thought; I'd think the Linen Wrap would be more suitable coming from Tundra Cotton than from Letter, but that's just my 2ยข.

Overall, everything looks great, and I'd love to see it expanded to include additional clutters. Good looking, friend.

      Thanks!

And about the linen wrap, I actually talked to my friend about this exact issue. There's leather, which makes the wraps really easy to get, or there's tundra cotton, which is a bit more realistic. Although, if I do go for tundra cotton, then I'm aiming for realism, which makes me want to require a more reasonable amount, which would mean, like 4 or 5 per linen wrap. (Still not realistic, but at least better than 1.) I might swap them out in the next update.

    looks simple but good

what i really miss in skyrim are standalone enchantable Belts for armors and clothes, for swords and such... there is not even one mod on the whole nexus (one from chesko but not enchantable).

    cheers have a good day!

i have a solution to the belt problem

the aesir armor has belts (what i have done is take those belts and made a mod of my own so i can wear them)

warmonger armory has some armors with fantastic belts (all that is needed is to change the bodyslot numbers and remove the armor meshes) and you'll have some weight slider compatible belts

if you want to release them then you'll have to get permission i think

i'll try the aesir mod, seems a bit broken though as i read comments, thanks for the hints, am not good enough nor have really the time to make a mod even for myself, thats why i asked am sure it would interest a lot of people since it could be pretty cool to fill the gap of swords and such.

      Best regards
