the Forsworn are more just if you believe the different NPC's testimonies, in their justice system, and are more inclusive than the Nords as seen in Windhelm...
Yeah, what if you're an Orc that sympathizes with the Forsworn and joins them? It's reasonable to assume you would get tatted up as part of their gang.
Might be the update with live another life. I get a lot of CTD in the reach now. Going to have to uninstall this sadly. EDIT: It was this mod causing the ctds. Update if you can otherwise it was nice while it lasted.
I'm 100% sure that my mod alone isn't causing that problem. Can you tell me which mod(s) you are using and I'll look into seeing if they edit the same parts of the Forsworn code that mine do. This mod is ridiculously old so I wouldn't doubt that in the year it's been out some one has created a conflict with it. But if there really is a conflict just download the optional mod that places you in the forsworn faction at the start of the game. That's just a faction code and should not create a conflict with any mod.
Thanks! OK, in that case I will end up testing for that in the course of my own play. Although it will happen sometime after Dragonborn release, as a different char will shortly be busy in Solstheim for a bit!
@LotteryDiscountz I had several Forsworn Faction mods installed, including this one, so I can't be absolutely sure that this one was responsible for the problem, but I *did* have a problem. Part of the MQ involves fighting your way through Forsworn and getting access to an ancient temple [avoiding spoiler here]; after I got into that temple, I could not get out without causing a CTD, so I had to reload, uninstall the various Forsworn Faction mods, and do the thing again.
I am not certain, therefore, that this mod will cause a CTD; however, the requirement of that MQ stage needs to be addressed if any mod puts you in the Forsworn faction. I am just wondering whether JustBreve has thought at all about that problem, because none of the other authors of similarly-functioning mods have even considered it. So, until someone addresses it, I am not going to be trying this again, in spite of it being a great idea. Not if it can break the MQ.
