Is there any chance you can bring the "Pause after Load Screen - Alternative to main file" from SSE over to LE for us that are still using this version? It would be nice to have this feature when entering a dungeon as well. Many thanks in advance!
thx for this mod!. I once saved my game right before a saber cat punce at me and my health is below 50%. After saved, i died, then load the save, died again, repeat. i had to turn on TGM.
This one doesn't work for me. I load my game as normal, and I don't get a delay to get the pause messagebox; it just never appears. I installed correctly, including the scripts in the right folder and yeah, activated the mod.
I can't tell either. The mod is extremely simple and there isn't much that could go wrong. The only remote possibility that I could think of would be if your game is not updated at all (the mod will not work on Skyrim versions below 1.6 which came out in 2012). Other than that you could try uninstalling and reinstalling it as with any mod. Edit: Completely untested on SSE.
I just downloaded and tested myself and the archive had an older version of the esp file with the up to date scripts included so it couldn't show the message. The version installed on my system worked and since nobody had reported any issues before it didn't occur to me. Sorry for the mess and thank you for your report!

I need this (and I've been tracking since release)... but I also want to get the Unpaused Game Menus mod and my clueless self is assuming that they're incompatible with each other.
Can you confirm or deny this assumption, UnderTheSky? xD
I haven't tested them together but if the Unpaused Game Menus mod affects MessageBoxes then this mod will not pause the game, so I'm fairly certain that they are incompatible.
Edit: Assuming the unpausing mod is SkyrimSouls you could disable the unpausing for message boxes in that mod's .ini file with MessageBoxMenu=0. Of course that would also disable unpausing for all other message boxes.
I remember back when I was a Skyrim noob I hadn't made a "new save" in something like 4 or 5 hours. Then I paused it at the exact split second before a dragon fried my arse.
Every time I loaded that save I would be dead before I could even move... and my previous save was outside of Helgen or something.
I cried myself to sleep that night.

I'll admit, I RARELY click anything in the Latest Files section, however I saw the name to this one and thought, "What use could this be?" I pondered this as the page loaded, and as soon as I read your bit about making tea I laughed out loud-- as soon as I load my game saves, I tend to go fix something to drink-- and I'm often drinking tea, and trying to make a quick peanut butter and jelly sandwhich before my save loads up xD This is a serious must have for me, not that I save near danger, but that I load and time is passing while my character is standing around with their thumbs up their butts. Good show, and thanks for the mod!

Other than that you could try uninstalling and reinstalling it as with any mod.

I'm at a loss. I can only think that maybe Skytweak conflicts somehow with it, since it fires its scripts just on game load. I'll have to test again.
