A "grass on steroids" version of Flower Fields is now available in the optional download section. This optional plugin sets grass to a very high level similar to the mod grass on steroids. You will need to adjust the ini setting iMinGrassSize to 75 if you are using this edition. You will get dense grass with minimal FPS loss.
Install one of the main files first, then overwrite with the 'grass on steroids' optional plugin
Ok..from new game i saw my whole flowers are black. I don't have any flower texture or natures realistic mods etc etc..jus i have full plain Skyrim with grass on steroids. I did whatever you said in description but didn't work. Anyways but nice mod with less hassle. Thank you.
Regarding the sunflowers, I'm going to ask another modder who has made some amazing textures if I can use them for an update. I also have increased my skills in TES5Edit and I am now able to make some edits to this mod, including a version without sunflowers and tulips. Update coming soon. Also modular versions for each hold
This mod is just amazing. It breathes life into this game I never knew it needed.
For Verdant users having trouble with sparse flowers in contrast with thick Verdant grass, even with the Steroids .esp: open up the FlowerFields .esp in TES5edit. Expand "Landscape Texture" under FlowerFields.esp, select any list of your choosing. Take note of how many entries are listed; you need at least 15 entries to match Verdant's grass type + density quota. With lists that only feature one type of flower, just put in fifteen of that same flower. The only thing that matters is each list MUST have 15 grasses in it to be equal to Verdant.
I only figured this out today, so thought I'd share.
I can't for the life of me get this to work in my load order. I'm using veydosebrum and have it below all grass/landscape mods. Instead of flowers I just get a patch of flat green texture so something is overwriting it but there's nothing under it that could?! I have set the ini as described. LOOT puts the esp above my grass mods so I put it near the bottom but neither works, I just get the same result. Can anyone help!?
/edit OK so I figured it out. Basically I'm an idiot, I installed the wrong version lol. Looks beautiful, cheers!
Hey, can I convert it to Skyrim SE? I know it can be used directly in Skyrim SE, but its .esp use format Form43 and Skyrim SE format Form44. i'll credit you on it or you can upload my file with your account? :)
No. I really don't want anyone else uploading my mods. There are mods now for SSE that have better looking models than the ones used here (3D Landscapes is the latest)
Convert it for yourself, and stop bugging me about it. I've explained over and over I'm not providing support for SSE because I don't play the game and it takes away my very limited free time to work on other modding projects.
I've had a few people explain to me how the porting of mods works and answered a lot of questions I had about it, therefore I've changed my mind. I'm sorry for the hassle but please understand I was just protecting my work.If there are any other mods you want to port let me know and I'll give perms

I have GoS and installed the high res + optional file, set grass density to 75 and 85, and it looks like this
