I just installed this mod, and I'm liking it so far. One thing I noticed when I first ran it, though, was even though I got the "wait for MCM" message and the menu showed up fairly quickly the actual removal of my helm (I was indoors at the time) didn't seem to happen. I waited a few minutes just to see if something needed to happen before the mod started doing its thing and even wandered in and out of a few places nearby just to check and nothing happened. I was able to fix it by first removing then equipping my helm then disabled/enabled the mod in MCM. I'm wondering if the initial "default" on the mod should be set to "disabled" when first installed.
I was also wondering if you wouldn't mind a small request to, maybe, add a notification message saying that you've either removed or equipped your helm/headgear? This is only because I'm usually playing in 1st person so never sure if I've done one or the other unless I happen to catch the equip/remove sound effect.
All in all, though, great mod and works brilliantly.
