the only thing that i would change it's to make them a bit bigger and muscular, they seems to be so skinny, even compared to the normal trolls

How can I remove the Grahls from Skyrim leveled lists?

Wow, the new textures really helps! though, I have a single suggestion: Maybe you could make the spikes on the troll's shoulder ice-colored like the spines on it's back. it might look more fitting.

And I also think it may look better without the horn, but that's just a nitpick. The single horn just looks a little funny to me.

Finally done (the ice-colored shoulder spikes, not the horn).

May I suggest increasing the innate Health Regeneration of the Grahls? A Frost Troll's regen is set to 3.0, whereas the Grahl's are apparently much lower. Personally, I've set mine to 5.0 to make them extra scary.

I set their health regen to half as much as frost trolls because they have more health and do more damage. Most enemies don't have any health regen, so I thought this was a good compromise. Check out the Stats section in the description for details on the differences.

Ah, so sorry. I forgot that I avoided the spoiler'd sections to make the initial encounters feel more fun. I understand and respect your reasoning; personally I just wanted to turn each one into a miniboss, haha.

Have you heard of the mod Qaxe's Questoriun? It adds a worldspace called Icicle Valley, which I think would be a good location for placing grahl spawns.

The author is welcome to make a patch to include my grahls if he'd like to!

You'd have to check but I swear I read a while ago how Dawnstar use to have ice trolls (a different breed than what we see in Skyrim) in the cave system beneath it (that doesn't exist in Skyrim for the most part). I could be wrong about that, though.

That is a really cool piece of info -- I'll look into putting a grahl up there! (Although that might be referring to Uderfrykte, who is found in the a Dawnstar cave during the Dark Brotherhood questline.)

I think it was something to do with the Dawnstar game (mobile game some years back maybe? .. again lol its been a while). I was researching Dawnstar for a personal overhaul that I was working on but ended up not having time to continue it. Found one of the things I was reading about it (took a break halfway through writing this as it "Dawned" on me lol). The image on the page even looks a bit like your creature... kind of).
http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Dawnstar:Gehenothnot sure if its a troll and or if there were others (there were definitely trolls in that game but I never played it to know how they were applied). Could have been Uderfrykte or Uderfrykte could be some remnants of Dawnstars past... aw well = ) that's about all I got.

Ah interesting! Do you remember if the word "troll" was ever used to describe it? Might make an interesting addition to Diverse Trolls Collection if I ever get around to working on that mod.

I don't know if the Gehenoth is ever referred to as a troll, but the Dawnstar game had a bunch of troll varieties. If you want Opus, I could PM you the trolls that I know of.

Oh that mod looks awesome! Thanks for the link.

The author did upload that as a modder's resource, so I might do something with it! I think it would be cool if it were rigged on a werewolf skeleton, and there were only one of them that lives in a cave near Dawnstar, and he were very very powerful.

Hi Opus, I customized the esp for my own use to make your grahl tusk ingredient and deathitem consistent with CACO. Tell me if you want it sent your way.

Hey JC! Could you make a patched version that only contains the ingredient and deathitem records? If so I will upload as an optional file (if you want me to).

aaaah that's what that ice monster was (added by immersive creatures I think in skyrim and by some monster mod in oblivion)

Hey, the recent version doesn't work! I think it may be the SSE version. With it active, all mods seem to become de-activated and an error pops up when the game closes. This stops when the .esp is disabled.
