Auto-create low version patch! Another less-skilled mod that needs the users to finish it instead of enjoying it.

How exactly does this work? Do I need to find and collect multiple volumes of a spell spread throughout the world in order to learn it?

I got an error and the patcher only goes as far as importing every mod (i have 230 active plugin):
'There was an exception thrown during program execution: Java.lang.NullPointerExecution'
Than its quit without doing anything...i hope.

    Any fix for this?

Seconded! Having the same error at the same point.

This also happens with another Skyproc patcher that I use. In my experience it was a load order error (if I'm remembering correctly that is).

      How do you fix this?

Edit: I tried running it through SUM and it instead spits out a 0 byte patch while saying that said patch is a "bad mod" in the logs.

I am wondering how this mod works with spell pack mods such as Apocalypse, More Apocalypse, and Lost Grimoire.

It is a SkyProc application, so I would assume it scans your plugins for spells and applies this to them in a patch.

Brilliant! Thanks a lot, will try this out. Although a better way that Oblivion's 'buy spell at spell dispenser' tech, the tomes had a lot of downsides, this is huge fix.

Thanks for the fix. I was having trouble with the patcher. Now it works.
Great idea by the way. c:

Nice. This adds a little more depth to spell tomes.
Personally I would like to still get the spell tome sound when I have read the last book and obtained the spell. CK: UISpellLearned ;-)
