God speed Frames per second now. Fogs clustering distant rendered objects, its as i thought this stops my laptop from overheating. Now i can have grass texture on max with with 26-30 fps... and even more with low resolution grass mod. Thank you i endorse thank you!!!
I was actually looking for something like this but the big bummer is that is like playing in a constantly foggy Skyrim all the time and this is kind of nerve breaking for me. A radius around the player with normal view while the further you look into the distance, the foggier it gets would have worked perfectly for me. I, too, agree that the distant landscapes arent as great and must be done something about them.
I tried to do what you mean, but it was not looked very good. If the fog begins at some distance from you, you need to dramatically increase the intensity of fog gain, for that would limit the review of the required distance. In this case, a fog appearance line is clearly visible, because the intensity of the fog increases linearly instead of exponentially. Perhaps there is a solution for this problem, but I could not find it.
I think this mod looks cool as it is, but I understand what the other people here want. So if you implement it, I hope you will add it as an alternative.
This is what i was exactly looking for, took 6 years to arrive! Can u tell me the formID for the radius around the player so i can try and edit and keep the settings i like using TES5EDIT?
Hi! Soon I will resume work on this mod, because again I'm going to play. There was an idea to focus on DoF in the distance, while reducing the intensity of the fog near the character.
is not compatible with mods that use a different set of weather instead of the standard skyrim weather for example climate of tamriel, pure weather, vivid weather and other mods that change the standard weather and located after 'permanent fog.esp' in load order

Day - Near
Night - Near
the distance after which the fog begins
are there any known incompatibilities??
