When I enable this mod in Vortex, Skyrim Special Edition will not start. Is this mod incompatible with special edition? Or is there a possible conflict with other mods?

Thank you very much for alerting me to this. I don't have Special Edition; has anyone else experienced this problem? And if so, do you have any suggestions for what's wrong?

Hi, I've fixed this up for SSE.

I opened the ESP in the 64-bit SSE CK and resaved it, unpacked the BSA and ran the SSE NIF optimizer over it, then packed a fresh BSA, and built a new 7Z package, which I fed to Vortex. I now have a nice skyforge steel rapier, off-hand dagger, and parrying dagger.

So I can say this works for me in SSE, and I see no reason it shouldn't work for anyone else.

If you like to pm me with your e-mail address, I can put my archive file in Dropbox for you and you can upload it as your SSE version. It includes all your JPG files and your readme.

Is there a easy way to delete/fill the transparent middle part of the blade? In nifskope the model doesn't have a hole. The swords look amazing but the "hole" is kinda odd looking to me.

Hey, this mod is exactly what I was looking for! I'm doing a full playthrough with your rapier! But before I get to glass, I was looking to change the color so it's not so emerald. Any places where I should start?

Sorry to be slow in replying -- I just saw your note. To do a complete color change you would need to unpack the bsa file, find the dds file involved, and then edit it. This is doable, but not all that easy. For a quick personal workaround, you might try this: open the mod in Creation Kit, check one of the other rapiers and note where the model is, then open the glass rapier and substitute the model you'd prefer. You'll need to enter the file location properly, but it should work okay for you.

Hello, awesome work I do have a sugestion. if that is okay. Why not try the "cut and thrust" sword, aka a side sword? that may work better with skyrims sword animation. as well as just seeming nice.

    here are some examples.

They have hangers rather than scabbards. They'll do fine by your side, but the point and most of the blade will show.

I will check back in the future to see if scabbards are implemented.

What about adding a slight bleed damage effect to the parrying daggers? Much in he same way as the Targe

I've set aside the bleed damage effect for now. It was on the original rapier model I began with, but the blood was (visually) about a quarter of an inch away from the edge of the sword. My modeling skills are not yet up to making that work right, so I've just removed it. Once I learn more, I may revisit the question.

Good work, look forward to using these with one of my followers... I've never been much of a rapier guy myself.
